“Great Hotel for the Price”

We decided on this hotel for price and locality and we were not disappointed on either. The hotel was a 5 to 10 minute walk from the metro which takes you into DC within 10 minutes. The hotel is situated in a mostly office surrounding which meant we felt safe coming back on the metro at night. However there are quite a few convenience stores and shopping malls very close to the hotel. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant there is an Indian right next door to it. The meal was excellent and very reasonably priced. The room was a great size, 2 large double beds, plenty of storage space, internet access if you wish. The hotel is fairly quiet during the week mostly used by business men and women, much busier at the weekends with younger groups. The hotel offers a complementary contential breakfast which consists of cereal, toast, waffles, fresh fruit and juice etc. The dining room is clean and bright. The front desk staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is also complementary coffee and newspapers available. There is a small shop at the main entrance with sells postcards and such like.

The staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy giving no cause for complaint. Breakfast was quite sufficient. The hotel is situated in a fairly quiet area and within walking distance of the underground.
