Hi Jason, This review is somewhat humorous to me. For the past 3 months we have not had a reservation with the first name "Jason". We have not had any roaches, urine smells or falling curtain rods reported. The only two people in this office never witnessed bad mouthing from a member of our housekeeping staff regarding a guest, therefore I find no credibility in this review.

Hi Miguel, Thank you for your review. Your fairness and your criticism are much noted and appreciated. I wish you had asked at the desk about the beach access. We have a well-maintained path through the dunes that leads to the beautiful ocean, I'm sorry you didn't realize it was there. The sand on the stairs and in hallways is a constant reminder to us that we are only steps from the ocean and have lots of people enjoying the beach as well as the pool. These being open to the elements make it a challenge to keep up with but we will try harder and do better. Thank you again for your honesty and we hope you will stay with us again.

Hi Elizabeth, I'm so very sorry for this mix-up. You handled this unfortunate situation with such grace and understanding, never once getting upset and losing your cool. We appreciate you! At 4:00 am you were put in a room we usually do not rent because we know it has issues. The maintenance man felt horrible about the situation and was trying to give you lodging for the night until we could work out the reservation. Occasionally internet booking engines over book us and this causes a huge problem for us all. We would like to opportunity to make this right. Please call me.

Hi Jennifer, I'm sorry to hear your accommodations were not acceptable. If these issues were reported to the front desk you would have been moved to another room. Not knowing how to operate the air conditioning is sometimes translated as it being broken. A tv remote that doesn't work would need new batteries. Yes, our property is old but the rooms are clean, paint is fresh and beds and bed linens are all top of the line. I'm sorry it didn't work out.

yes we call ourselves the mom and pop hotel one of the last around but we have renovated the entire hotel to make your stay a little more comfortable

I apologize for that because all rooms are equipped with coffee pots and the irons are given upon request
