Great staff, easy check in, all clean and tidy. Good quality breakfast with plenty of choice even though we went down later. Great location for accessing the city centre and the St James’s Park. Parking next door, easy to get to and easy access back out. Definitely recommended.

I stayed for a Sunday night with 2 uni friends for our 40 year catch up.
Rooms were very comfortable. One of my friends was kept awake by traffic noise but on the other side of the building it was quiet.

Lovely clean and comfortable room, with excellent free breakfast. Staff were friendly too. The only issue I had was with a slow draining shower - the plughole needed clearing.

Unfortunately I didn't get to stay the two nights I paid for so I lost out due to bad weather in Scotland so instead of offering me a partial refund I got nothing considering it was through no fault of my own the policy shouldn't be that they keep it if you have to leave I had no choice, we aren't in an situation at present where it's affordable to just be able to leave the fact they kept the second night from me leaving me with nothing is a disgrace I understand if you leave because hotel wasn't great but I'd of enjoyed I just couldn't understand circumstances of trains being cancelled.
So change your policy it's not people's fault if they have to leave early, I find it a disgrace.
Won't be back which is a shame it was in a great location but after telling you my situation and still not being refunded terrible shame on you.

Reception staff could not have done anymore. Was disappointed with the choices for breakfast, we normally stay at a premier inn and much prefer the breakfast there. Also coffee machine was out of service the whole time we were here. I must admit a nice bean coffee is a must to set you up for the day ahead. Instant coffee in the rooms doesn’t have the same effect.
