Was here for Oktoberfest and it was very fitting for two nights. Walkable to everything we needed and right by the train to return to the airport. Basic accommodations at an affordable price

No hot water in shower and no A/C.
Hotel room has no ventilation or A/C. As there was 29 C in Munchen, the room became very hot and uncomfortable. The hotel provided a very noisy fan, but that only circulated the hot air in the room. The shower had no hot water. They sent the cleaning lady to fix it, which she obviously couldn't. We were offered complimentary breakfast for one of our 2 night stay, only to find mold in the yogurt. Avoid this hotel.

Staff was nice, rooms were clean, only thing we had a problem with was the strange water pressure/shower head and the tv. It only had a few channels and all were in German. We understand they translate everything but we would have liked to watch at least one show before bed and understand something. Internet worked great, and the hotel is super conveniently located.

A good, but basic hotel, close to main station
If you are looking for cheap basic hotel in a central location, then this may well suit you. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The showers are temperamental and work ok if you are the only person in the hotel using them - otherwise they can be quite cold. Bed linen and towels are clean, but tiny, worn and tatty. The hotel is not manned from around 9:30pm to 6:00am - don't arrive in the night as you won't get in! On the good points, there is a small lift to all floors. Breakfast is available daily, but you may have to pay extra for it. A small selection of hot drinks is available for free whilst the hotel is manned (there are no hot-drink making facilities in the rooms). The TV works most of the time, with 3 English-speaking channels. The hotel is situated very close to the main station and the S-Bahn. Paintwork is bright and cheery, but let down by the well-worn carpets in the communal areas. If the owners were to spend a little bit of money refreshing the carpets and decoration, buying new bed linen & towels and fixing the hot water supply, I would rate it much higher.

Great hotel, dingy location
The hotel reception was friendly and helpful, and the room itself was great. The negative aspect to the hotel is its location, very convenient for the train station but rather dingy, with the entrance between two rows of refuse bins which appear to be a permanent fixture on the sidewalk.

Convenient to Main Station.
I have stayed in this Hotel before, and booked it again because it is so convenient to the Hauptbahnhof, it is only a 4 or 5 minute walk from the side entrance of the Station, the rooms are very clean, the friendly staff speak excellent english, I will stay here again in the future. Philip
