Good location in town. They have some parking on property and also on street. Close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast is home made and different every day. They also have “wine hour” in late afternoons with some snacks.

Great location and many shops and restaurants nearby. They also have their own "happy hour" with wine and snacks. The breakfast was really good too. They have limited parking but the street parking is free after 7pm.

Rooms were pretty good and the fireplace is nice. Bathroom was pretty small and the breakfast was really not very good, I wouldn’t recommend eating there again.

we were so looking forward to our stay at Coachmans Inn and on first appearances everything seemed wonderful - until we were given our room The room itself was exactly as described but the room 104 had next to no natural daylight at all We asked at reception for another room and were told to turn on the overhead light - no other rooms they were fully booked!! We're not sure this was true! I was so upset with the room I actually cried! Just 3ft from the front door was a full height stone wall and the view from the window was of the wall and railings, again fully height, that surrounded the hot tub. The room itself was immaculately clean and the breakfast was very pleasant - so sad that the stay felt like we were in a dungeon AVOID Room 104

Cute and homely Inn
This hotel was great, got to reception to find they had been given the wrong booking details…1 bed instead of 2 beds. There was no fuss or bother and got us a 2 beds room straight away. Afternoon cheese and wine happy hour was a nice treat and the fridge full of soft drinks for free. Would definitely stay again. Thanks

Hidden Gem
The Coachman Inn is a hidden gem in Carmel. The gourmet breakfast was excellent, hot cookies in afternoon and happy hour with a beautiful spread of snacks. Great location. Can not wait to return.

My childhood friend and I had a fabulous girls’ birthday week in Carmel. The guest services staff was friendly and very helpful! We were delighted with the close proximity to town—so easy to walk everywhere. The morning breakfast was always very good and ample to get us going on our day, and the happy hour wine and snacks was absolutely perfect. The room was clean and beds comfortable. The only problem at all was the garbage truck picking up across the street from our room every single morning at about 7:00. We didn’t need to set an alarm!

Super friendly staff and a great area to be located. They definately did some remodeling in the exterior. We stayed off season. I could see it being an issue for me if I were here in the summer without airconditioning. To open a window would invite the outside street noise. The breakfast was thoughtful with fantastic fresh fruit which I loved. My drawback was the bathroom. The tub height is high. I could see this being an issue for an elderly person as it is easy to catch your foot coming in and out. Ideally the bathroom would have a walk in shower instead. Bathroom is cramped but most are in Carmel. I had no issue with anything else and loved the location.
