Plans changed and I stayed 1 night. Expedia and the hotel wouldn’t refund my second night stay. Bad bad buisness for a dirty hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is absolutely filthy and run down. The pool is empty, breakfast was disgusting so dirty you could not imagine eating off what they have there, which is only a filthy never been cleaned waffle maker and brown water as coffee. The first room they put me in was down several deserted hallways and staircases. No elevator and they have all the exits for closer entrances locked. They said I have to enter through the lobby for my safety. I asked to switch rooms and upgraded to a ‘jacuzzi suite’ which was even worse for cleanliness. Floor sticky with urine, carpets filthy with all kinds of stuff and never vacuumed or cleaned. Food, candy, bugs and all kinds of stuff on the floor. Everything was filthy in the room except for the bed so we decided to stay because it was late and we were tired, had no vehicle because we flew and the language barrier was so hard to communicate with the staff. We cleaned the room for an hour to be able to touch the surfaces we needed to use like the faucets and light switches etc. They only gave us one bath towel, one cloth, and one hand towel which we used to clean the room. They provides a dirty keurig machine, with drip coffee packets so it didn’t work. We were awaken by prostitutes outside the room all night. The taxi driver the next evening told me that this place is the new homeless shelter for Medicine Hat! They should not be renting rooms to the public.

This property did not have the pool or hottub running. They did not have any notices ahead of time for guests to be able to know before booking. They refused to give a refund after i wanted to cancel my booking because they did not live up to the expectation foe having a pool for my children to go swimming in.

What I liked was easy access to get to, the rate was good. What disappointed was no coffee or glass cups in the room plus no shower certain on the room. Plus when I walked in the room I could smell smoke. I did not complain because I needed a ground level room because I sprained my ankle.

None of the pool or hot tub facilities are running. Guests were fighting in the dirty hallways to the point where police showed up. There is garbage everywhere and graffiti in the stairwell. In the morning i had their breakfast where a guest was volunteering to make coffee while the employee was on her cell phone. Wifi doesn't work, nor does the TV remote. My room has dirt on the floor and water spots on all the mirrors. Absolutely disgusting experience.

It's not the Ritz, it's an affordable budget hotel. It's an older building (I'd guess from the 70's) and it shows it's age. However, the room was very clean, the A/C works, the water was hot and the staff were good. I never used the pool or hot tub but they looked clean as well. The breakfast was very basic, but at this price point, I wouldn't expect much more. It was one of the most inexpensive motels on the Hwy 1 strip and if I was still on a budget, I would stay there again.
