The children’s playground backs off to the car park. There’s a very low fence with a small gate. The parking area has a gate that backs off to a main road. Any child can walk off and anyone can walk in to the the playground. It is unsafe for children to play freely.

Hotel was absolutely spotless. Constantly being cleaned. Very modern hotel with fantastic facilities, we were in a penthouse suite with its own hot-tub...just fabulous.

This was our third visit to Zafiro Palmanova. This year we were disappointed. Our room was adjacent to a neighbouring hotel with wry loud entertainment well into the night. Our children couldn’t sleep until 1am. The room lacked the finishing touches: very poor water pressure, toilet flush faulty, no dish cloths/sponges. We asked for spare towels as room service didn’t arrive one day- took 6 hours.

Overall the property was very nice however we could all of the movement of other guests in the hallways from our room. We also could hear the entertainment every night from our room which was really loud. Rooms are not sound proof at all.

Amazing hotel
I would like to thank Maria Lopez at the reception and her team for their wonderful service. In addition to the amazing food, the staff was extremely friendly and the paella was to die for. As a whole, the hotel was very modern, with its rooms being very clean and of a high standard. During my stay, I had my 12 and 14-year-old children along with my wife.

Amazing comfy
Great hotel. Even though it was out of season there was still a few things to do. Buffet food fab room overlooking pool was comfy for2 adults a 2 kids. I think the only thing they could improve on is at reception when checking in they should let us know wher all the facilities are eg indoor pool gym mini golf spa. Also would Have be nice to know as we were self catering what buffet costs were and if we wanted to upgrade to half/full board.

We got a great deal on this hotel so we were happy. Rooms basic but totally usable. We had the road side of the hotel which doesn’t have a view or get sun so I’d advise upgrading if it’s not too pricey. We went self catering. Probably would have upgraded to b&b but did think 25e each wasnt worth it although apparently the AI is good value. Pools are chilly which is to be expected out of season so a wetsuit for little people stops this from being a problem. Location of the hotel is great. Near beach, restaurants and a great Aldi. We went for a 4 day cheap and cheerful and this is what we got. Not fancy, probably could get much better if you wanted to pay more but the hotel did the job nicely for us x

The property was well situated near local restaurants and bars. The beachfront was only a few minutes away. The property had a small supermarket and cash machine attached. There was plenty of private parking. The rooms were clean, spacious and had everything we needed - except bowls! The pools were very clean; the children loved the inflatables and the play park. The indoor pool was definitely a bonus as we visited in April and the temperature of the outdoor pool was cold. The only downside was the noise from the other guests. The rooms are NOT soundproof and you can hear everything! The footsteps above, in the corridor, the alarms of the neighbours. It can drive you mad...! Ask for a room on a high floor away from the noise.

Hotel is absolutely first class and now the third time my family and I have stayed here. Location is perfect and all amenities in the hotel were great. Staff very attentive and the small issue we had on arrival with our room was quickly resolved by the manager, so truly a hotel that cares about its customers. Kids loved the pillow in the pool and played on it for hours each day, there’s also a water park for the younger ones, with various slides out of a pirate ship. All in all, another wonderful trip to the Zafiro Palmanova and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

This is an extremely good property however communication needs to vastly improve we went self catering and on arrival to the room the shower head was on the floor!! Dangerous with a 3 year old present with us The indoor pool was the attraction as it’s winter but the pool was not really that heated so the kids could not stay that long in it The whirlpool was also cold again this is not great Entertainment was limited to a singer nothing for the kids so my children were disappointed as not much for them to do but it did not say no kids club it was advertised as having one and again this was poor

We really loved the pool view, the sunrise and sunset from our room especially from the Jacuzzi. The rooms/Jacuzzi were cleaned daily and we had fresh towels. I liked the fact we could exchange our pool towels frequently and also there was a shop downstairs. It would be nice if the breakfast was more affordable, €25 per person is quite steep. Admittedly it was the middle of winter so it was expected that the outdoor pools would be freezing; and they were. We were unlucky that the indoor pool was not operational for our first two days. However, when it was working it would have been nice if it was heated. It was a little cold for the kids. Note that we did appreciate being allowed to swim in the spa pool during the breakdown, although it was much colder on the second day. Finally, we were unable to extend our stay on the last night. It would have been nice since our flight was in the evening and could have used a space to allow our little baby to take his afternoon nap.

This was one of the best holiday's I've ever been on so far. The hotel staff is super friendly and super helpful. There were no hidden charges at the end of our trip. HOWEVER, the food isn't great it's very salty. Their beverages (alcoholic) are amazing, the spa was nice and quiet but they were not offering massages at the time which was a bummer but no biggie. As we went in Feb, the local town was SUPER quiet as they don't open anything until summer time so we had limited things to do but the hotel has a pool table which was really fun and we hired bikes thru the hotel which was really convenient. I would DEFINITELY return and probably with more people. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE ALL INCLUSIVE OPTION UNLESS YOU WON'T HAVE AS MUCH FUN AS I DID LOL.

Excellent location.
Very comfortable hotel huge room with almost separate seating area. Large bathroom with huge shower and constant hot water. I do tak3 issuecwith having to pay over €16 to access the room staff. Not impressed!
