Pros: friendly staff, pretty roof restaurant/bar, nice lobby that’s comfortable and good to work in with a nice breakfast selection, convenient to transportation and the fine arts area.
Cons: no dresser or closet in the room, the lighting is limited to a ceiling lamp and a bare bulb, no hot water in the sink or shower (luke warm was as good as it got), dirt and stains on the window shades, no refrigerator for leftovers, no coffee maker, bottles of water were displayed but cost $3 each and there were no cups for tap water, no gym, a beautiful lounge type room featured on the website is not actually part of the hotel.
I was traveling solo and stayed in a single king room at the back of the building that faced into an alley where the trash was picked up 2x per night. It’s not the worst place but it’s not 4 stars either. Given how much it cost (even with a discount) I wouldn’t stay here again. If it was cheaper I probably would.
