There were a few things wrong with my stay. First there was another guests old food in the fridge when I arrived. Then there was a party right outside my balcony that made it difficult to have any privacy. There were multi color lights shining into my room. Finally I was told I wasn’t allowed to sit near the pool with a coffee unless I bought the coffee from the hotel. When I tried to move to the lobby I was told by a rude member of the bar staff that I wasn’t allowed to drink it in any communal spaces but was allowed to drink it in my room. After charging an outrageous and mandatory 33 dollar a day “amenities fee” it is insane that I can’t drink a coffee near the amenities. This hotel charges for the “privilege” of using a pool and gym but has outdated rules on how to use them. That alone will stop me from ever staying here again

There are tons of homeless people around the property and it is unsafe. Our internet was out for the entire stay and the technician was unable to make this better. We also had a non working phone. We were charged extra for these non working amenities. I have called several times and been promised a very tiny refund which has still not been received. Overall - a complete disappointment.

We enjoyed our stay at Le Meridien Delfina Santa Monica. From the moment we checked in, (thank you, Tracy!) the staff was very courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and just right for our family. The pool was well maintained, but a little cold for our Texas blood! I did feel like the required valet was a little inconvenient, but other than that I have no complaints! I would definitely stay here again.

I was in Hotell mainly for sleep. The mattress is super old with a big indentation in the middle. It created lower back pain for me The room carpet is dirty. hairs were found on The bathroom floor and its counter as I walked in. Thanks to my Lysol wipes I took care of it The valet staff were nice, friendly, and helpful The protest outside of the hotel was not pleasant

Ana at check in was awesome! Actually I observed many of the staff at the front desk during my stay, and they were all great as well. The complimentary champagne was such a nice touch. I loved the ocean view balcony room. I have already recommended this hotel to friends. Great place!

Overall, a very nice place to stay. It was very expensive, but I guess that's California. It was very clean, and housekeeping and other staff was excellent. I enjoyed the American breakfast that I paid the additional price for. The protesting out front of the hotel every morning was loud and annoying with security officers it made my younger son nervous at first with a lot of questions that came later.

Overall this is a great location to get to all your destinations when visiting Santa Monica. Down the street you have various cafes and restaurants to choose from, shopping centres, farmers market and of course, the beach! The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! Great hotel to stay in!

This hotel was beautifully kept and updated nicely. The only downfall was it was a little further from the beach than we anticipated. Terry checked us in and was amazing. She was courteous, thoughtful, and professional. She started out vacation on a great note.

WE had an amazing time, amazing staff. 2 free glasses of champagne per day really made you feel like your on vacation. The Bellman/Security was amazing and always opened doors for you and shared a conversation. Definitely will stay there again when in santa monica.

Honestly, the hotel is lovely. We were created with wine and champagne in the evening, and we sipped it while sitting in the swing and watching guests play pool in the game room. We enjoyed the well-equipped gym, and would have taken advantage of the free beach yoga if the weather would have cooperated. The only thing that left a sour note was the protesters that decided to play a siren and bang drums and horns at 7:00 am. It was so loud and so unsettling to the overall vibe of the hotel.

Place was great! Except for the morning protesters that would wake all of us up! Bit other than that it was at good location, clean, friendly. FYI- no parking only valet and ist $60ish per day.

I didn’t love the location. It’s a bit sketchy to walk after dark. Also the room had an odor of mustiness. We tried two rooms, same issue. Hallways were a bit odd too. But I liked the lobby a lot, and the front staff were very nice. Pool was nice too. Gym was sufficient.

It's a lovely hotel and I had a very nice stay for 5 nights last week. There are some union protesters picketing most mornings over some kind of contract dispute. The hotel has security there to make sure everyone is safe. Union bullies are the worst. I feel bad for the hotel. It's clear the staff were concerned about the noise affecting our stay. I only heard them in the lobby. I had breakfast there anyway and it was fine.

Our visit was fine, but a few issues
There seems to be industrial action/protest going on outside this hotel as well as others in Santa Monica, so there was a lot of very loud noise outside in the mornings. Not sure how temporary this will be. Our room was not ready on time and staff did not really handle it in the most customer-service-friendly manner. However, the actual room was clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom had a nice large counter top which was helpful for a family stay. The pool was out of service one day we were there but seemed to be up and running the next day. Bike rental was a nice perk and they also had helmets, locks etc which was helpful. Overall we had a fine stay but I would not rush to stay at this particular hotel again as there are other options in a similar price point in the area.

We found Le Meridien at the last minute. How lucky we were. Great location, terrific staff, wonderful facility. And a good restaurant. We loved our stay there and highly recommend Le Meridien Delfina to all.

Great Location
My original room was right above the driveway of the hotel. I am a light sleeper so I asked them to change my room which they did. There was a $33 amenities charge per day for amenities that I did not use. I realize that most hotels are doing this right now but I do not agree with it. The room was comfortable, not the most luxurious, but fine. Housekeeping came every day which was good because since COVID some places do not offer that anymore. The bar was in the lobby which was good on rainy nights, we didn’t have to go out. Overall I enjoyed my stay because of the great location, near the beach and lots of good restaurants. I would recommend the hotel to family and friends and I would stay there again.

I am not sure if it is our bad luck or what but during our whole stay we woke up on the sound of protestors in the whole front doors upsetting about something related to this hotel and it is clear the sound isolation in not good in the hotel because their sound is loud and clear in our room :(
