The property was a great one and fun to go out and walk around as we went through the area looking and getting things we wanted to. Very fun and happy to go there and even just resting was great time each day.

We were told upon arrival that we had a preassigned room and couldn't change! We like quite rooms and typically try to get a top floor room as we don't like having someone above us walking around. Our assigned room was a first-floor room just around the corner from check-in, next to the elevator and across the hall from the laundry! Not very quiet!

Unfortunately when were are sold out we only have so much wiggle room in the future you may book and call ahead to try and reserve a particular part of the hotel. Last moment changes like this are really hard to accommodate.

This was our 1st stay at the Best Western in Long Beach. We were very impressed. We ended up staying again on January 5th, 2024 Once again we were impressed with the Front desk and the friendliest staff. When we ordered the king's suit, it did not have a TV in the living area and they were not able to accommodate for that. We were hoping we could get a discounted price on our third day, but where Never offered that opportunity. Maybe next time?

We absolutely love the Best Western in Long Beach. All of the staff is polite and friendly, they have an amazing continental breakfast. It is close to all the shopping areas convenient for walking and close to the beach access. On this day we did reserve the king suit, there was no TV in the living area. They apologize for the inconvenience but were not able to accommodate another TV.

Enjoyed the stay as a family!
Amazing stay! Truly quiet and the proximity to the beach is great. We brought two small kids and they had a high chair available which is always appreciated. Breakfast was very diverse in options!

This hotel has one of the nicest staffs. The hotel is clean and convenient. The breakfast was a great addition to our stay. I would absolutely stay here again.

Apparently you have to sign up for room service or you can get to no towels, less than half a roll of toilet paper, and a small sand castle building in the bathroom. We were never told of this and apparently it is our fault. Not only did our AC stop working on the second of our FIVE day stay but we were only provided a fan, and the bathroom vent never worked turning out room into a variable sauna the entire stay. It was cooler outside and in the hallways than it was in our room. We were told we had to to sign up for room service even though our bed was made and towels were replenished on our first night (ONLY). When we called the front desk we were told it was our responsibility when we had no idea and were not informed by anyone that it was required for them to do anything to our room, even though the first day was done without us asking....The AC was never fixed and the only thing they could or would do for us was provide fans. Yes this was at the peak of tourist time so we paid almost $400.00 a night. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were very thin. The pull out mattress my daughter was on was so thin you could feel the metal bars through it and she was very uncomfortable as well. We were made to feel like our stay being uncomfortable was our fault and that them cleaning our room was a inconvenience for them.

Thank you for your feed back and we will look into the maintenance issues regarding the ac and sofa bed. I can ensure you that your stay over request was gone over with you during check in. All of our guests are asked at check in to register for the type of stay over service you'll will need during your stay. If you failed to select an option and fail to communicate your needs then I can image this is how it was "missed". Its never an inconvenience for our staff to fulfil the needs of our guests but In honesty how can we fix problems that were avoidable had the check in been completed properly.

It was a nice, quiet room. We had trouble with our TV but management took care of it. The complimentary breakfast wasn't that great. The staff are very friendly. Perfect location for shopping and dining out.

The staff was fantastic. They went above and beyond. Very friendly and welcoming. There was one lady with sholder length blondish hair and glasses, who was extra kind, but I didn't get her name and I can't seem find a direct number to the front desk right now, to ask her name. She is a huge asset to your hotel. The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were clean and quiet, which is very important to us. Great location. We had a fantastic exerience there! You should be very proud of that hotel.Thank you!

Good location, clean, adequate rooms, morning breakfast. Called 24 hours ahead of our arrival to inform the front desk that our stay would be 2 nights and we would have to cancel the 3rd night due to family commitments. Was assured that would not be an issue and all was adjustable on our reservation; however, we were charged for three nights...a receipt for 2 nights was printed out for us, however our credit card on file was charged 3 nights.

Both of the women at the front desk were amazing. The room was filthy. The toilet was dirty, it looked as though it was never cleaned (around the base). We were in one room and moved because of the smell. It smelt of mold. The room we were moved to had an awful smell as well. Will not be coming back.

Toilets!
Stay was good but why are all the BW toilets kiddy size low? I am only 5'9" and these toilets are so low that they are hard to rise from.Stayed in 3 different BW over past 3 days and all are the same. Should not have to ask for a disabled set up room just to get a full height toilet.
