A lovely and traditional hotel. A good base for site seeing with Barons Court tube station close by, as well as Hammersmith.
My only complaint was the slow breakfast service. 10 minutes for a slice of toast and running out of croissants by 8:30 doesn’t really align with a quality hotel.
The hotel was fine. I dont think i could describe it as anything other than that.

The hotel seemed really nice in the shared spaces but then room itself was pretty tired-looking. The carpet was stained, the shower had zero pressure and the bed was a weird shape to suit the room.
The man that checked us in seemed to have no interest in working in a hotel, being courteous or existing in the presence of other humans. The alarm went off at a quarter to six in the morning as well which, according to previous reviews, is not an isolated occurrence. Nice building, though.
So happy we stayed here. Lovely historic building, great whiskey bar (with friendly staff), walkable neighborhood -- and affordable rate. Would absolutely return!
Charged for breakfast directly by hotel before arrival. Then told restaurant closed during stay. Refused to deal with refund directly and told me to speak to travel agent. Had to spend 30 minutes on phone to travel. Room not cleaned one of the days. Common areas untidy. Nice building wasted by poor service and cleanliness.

Upon arrival we were told there was an engineering fault in the room and we would have to find alternative accommodation. I’m yet to receive a refund
Our room was very good, spacious, comfy bed and great bathroom. Loved the older building amongst very modern architecture too making it feel very unique. Restaurant and bar being refurbed so wasn’t open but several eateries nearby so not a problem.
No hot water on the first night of a 1 night stay. Bar and dining room closed on second day ….. no notification from the hotel in advance. Generally a little in need of refurbishment and poor re lack of a breakfast option
Nice place with a lot of charm at a very fair price. Short walk to the Tube and a restaurant on site. Quiet neighborhood too.

Attractive architecture and entrance
A two day stay at the front of the hotel . We stayed in room 18 which suffered from a lot of road noise especially emergency vehicle sirens. Minor defects included the toilet seat was loose and the bathroom fan defective. A £100 security deposit will be taken on arrival which took three working days to return. We did not use the bar or restaurant during our stay. A friendly enough smaller hotel costing considerably more than the nearby chains. No parking available although can be purchased from the Novotel 400 mts down the road at £40 per day.
The hotel was comfortable and warm.
Polite advice is that ladies like to have somewhere with good light to do make up.. a lit mirror or magnifying mirror with light. Noted one of the pillows appeared as if the protection cover may not have been washed… tatty…. Otherwise a lovely fresh breakfast. I did sleep well too!
Lovely building, room clean and well furnished. Room lovely and warm. Shower lush. Reception staff lacked hospitality skills (not rude just a bit inexperienced). Old building so pipes a bit noisy, could hear upstairs flushing the toilet and having a shower but no road noise and quiet otherwise.
Given a ground floor room right by stairs and the bar, very noisy, especially when someone started playing the guitar at 10pm.
Moved rooms and was perfect, but I’m not sure I’d like to take the risk again.
Very nice hotel, shame about the noise
Stayed one night and didn’t really feel it was worth the (high) price. Room a bit tired - broken equipment and stained furnishings- staff were brusque. Couldn’t get room with bath. Feels like it’s past its best I won’t be staying again

Staff were very attentive and made you feel very welcome.
Loved this hotel. Super comfortable and warm. Only a short walk to the Eventim Apollo. Our room was very well equipped and the bathroom was superb. We are in the bar and the food was excellent as was the service. A whisky bar made it even better. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful building, with clean, comfortable rooms and fantastic friendly staff.
Would definitely stay again and hope to have time to enjoy their huge range of whisky next time.
