"Property is gorgeous and I was drawn to it being part of the old castle. But it is up on the Alana hill and not all taxi or Uber drivers will take you all the way to hotel. Book airport shuttle service through the hotel if possible. There are also peacocks around the hotel that are very loud and act like a roaster waking you up early in the morning. Staff was great. "Visited mid May for 4 nights but wished we'd booked for longer. Hotel was amazing. From our arrival we were made to feel so good. Greeted at door and taken to our room with a tour of hotel in between. Absolutely beautiful, luxurious hotel. Room had everything we needed and more. "Friendly staff, quiet area, adjacent to golf course. Recent renumbering of the course meant that tee #1 was no longer adjacent to he hotel. The driving range was a short walk but the clubhouse and first tee were better accessed by car if carrying clubs."

"This resort is lovely -clean, good service, great spa services. It's far from everything, so definitely a more remote getaway/retreat. The beds were not very comfortable, but the room was spacious and clean."
