"The location is very good and safe with 10 mins walk to subway station. No elevator! I had 2 suitcases and the friendly front desk young man offered to take them up stairs to the 3 rd floor! The room is not big but comfy with individual bath. I booked the private room. There are other shared rooms with shared bathrooms I guess. The hostels is very clean and the kitchen/ living room in the basement is very spacious with many sofa/ table and chairs to sit. Walking to restaurants. "

"My stay was a good one. The family is warm and welcoming yet professional. The house is quite large and my rear of the house room (#5) was spacious, secure and comfortable. I am sensitive to noise and always travel with earplugs; they came in handy as the room is right beside the kitchen. Not terribly noisy, but noticeable to me without earplugs. "The setup was great. As I’m familiar with the area, it was a good value in comparison to hotels/motels in the area. The community is quiet. The unit is to the back of the house, with cameras for security. It’s not a 5 star hotel. But, it definitely served it’s purpose. The property is approximately 4 minutes to NJ Turnpike/Goethall’s Bridge. While the owner has a sense of humor with the posting, there are no amenities. It’s not waterfront, or beach accessible.
