We specifically booked a 2-queen-bed Fountain View room for a one-day stay in Las Vegas. My kids were eagerly anticipating enjoying the room and watching the Bellagio Fountain from the room.
After waiting in the check-in queue for 30-45 minutes, the lady at the front desk acknowledged our Fountain View room reservation and handed over the keys.
However, upon entering the room, we were dismayed to discover that we had been given a corner room with no view. We called the front desk from the room, there was no response, were redirected to a help desk, who mentioned the property manager will get in touch with us. After no response for more than 30 minutes, we had to again stand in the queue for another 30-45 minutes to reach a front desk assistant, only to hear the staff's unapologetic response of Hotel overbooking, leaving us feeling frustrated and disappointed.
