Nice, relaxing property about a mile or so off the strip. Not very crowded. Good restaurants. Excellent customer service. 24 hour room service! Conveniently located across the street from restaurants and a pharmacy. I stayed in a very nice, upgraded suite in the ruby tower. I loved it. Except. There is no coffee pot, refrigerator or microwave for guest use. Also. If you don’t want to be charged DO NOT open the fridge or touch anything in there.

Left an item in room and have made 8 calls so far to security to get it back and each time get a different story, one person tells me they have it and mail it back to me, the next tells me that I must have misheard him because they don't have it, when I play a voicemail from the previous guy he then says the first one was not telling me the truth, etc. etc.

Spacious Suite - decided to upgrade to the Ruby suite on the 15 floor of Ruby Tower. First day upon arrival I had a massage at the spa which was super relaxing. Spa staff were really nice. As someone who works out often, I wish the gym had more variety of equipment. Service overall from a restaurants/food service perspective could've been better. Fri. after I checked-in, I went to the Kassi Beach Club where I waited a long time for my drink orders to arrive, food took long and I only ordered a salad. I was subjected to a minimum bar tab of $100. I was laying in the beach chairs along the front of the pool. I think the person taking my orders was working solo and didn't have other servers supporting her. It felt like there were more bussers than actual servers by the pool. I ate dinner at the Mexican restaurant - 2 people walked off their job. Sat., I waited almost 30 minutes in line and waiting for my order at the juice bar. They were short staffed. I didn't complain since I could tell the 1 girl there was ringing people's orders up and making their orders at the same time. I felt bad for her. You need to make sure there's more people there on weekends since its a hot spot for people grabbing a bite in the morning, going to or leaving the gym/spa, etc. I travel often and work in the travel industry for a major travel company. In comparison to 4-5 star hotels on strip, food service and quality was not up to par with the premium Vegas prices one has to pay.

When this was the Hard Rock it was a city unto itself. Now that it’s the Virgin it’s just another nice hotel that’s a car ride to anywhere else. Not a destination resort. Next time I stay on the Strip.

I would NEVER stay at this out of the way Hotel ever again. You have to walk at least 1.5 to 2.5 miles to get to the strip. The room we were in was so small at such a high cost it was ridiculous! Calling each day for extra towels for no reason because they never got delivered. Room didn’t get cleaned until we got back in the afternoon to shower and had to wait out of the room for it to get cleaned—said they were very busy and understaffed. This hotel is not a good destination.

Overall stay was good. Would've given 5 stars, but I didn't like having the door that was connected to the room next to me. I understand hotel rooms are bound to have some kind of noise come through the walls from other rooms, but for an upgrade to a "suite" I payed over $400 for I expected a bit less noise coming through the door that was connected to the other room...or maybe not even have a door connecting to the other room there. Just expected more privacy. Other than that, the bogo drinks were nice and strong, appreciated the cleanliness of the lobby restrooms, and looked the walking distance to a heart korean restaurant right across the street!

I liked that there was a liquor store, a dispensary, a CVC pharmacy, and several dining options within walking distance (across the street). I didn't like the fact that the hotel advertisement picture showed a beautiful, large pool area with hot tubs and cabanas etc, but when we went out to use it we were told it was for "friends and family" only, and the tiny upstairs pool area that we were allowed to use did not have a hot tub, cabanas, and a very limited amount of seating.

Property was great, amenities were great, dining was awesome and the staff were friendly and professional especially Lala at the check in desk, concierge I’m sorry I don’t recall her name. The waiter at the Kitchen restaurant and the staff at the Thai food restaurant night market the food was great at many of the restaurants there inside. The reason we visited this hotel was because we had such a wonderful experience on virgin cruise and the hotel didn’t disappoint us. Oh also , the yoga instructor and experience was great 😊

The shower in the room was terrible. It had zero pressure and there was just a trickle of water coming out the showerhead, and no there was no way to control it. The shower floor had mold around the corners.

I love the hotel, i did have an issue with AC in the room provided but after maintenance came to try to fix it, and was still not working. I then got upgraded to a king suite in the Ruby Tower which was beautiful. I would definitely recommend booking a room in the Ruby Tower

The small stuff. I liked a door between the sleeping area and hall. So that you don’t hear the hallway noises as easily or the light. Excellent idea. All hotels should do this. Otherwise well decorated etc. Get rid of snack fridges and charging for water in the room tho. So old school and the most annoying upcharge.

My room was very nice, but the resort was just ok. It felt a little dingy and everything was overpriced. Why pay a resort fee if you don’t have full access to all of the amenities? If I wanted to use the indoor pool and sauna, I would have had to pay an extra $50! I wasn’t doing that. These fees are going to keep people from staying at large resorts.
