The room (suite) was OK, but daily cleaning less thorough than might be expected (glasses and cups not washed). The curtains were good at light blocking but extremely noisy to operate. We were on 6th floor so relied on lifts which were swift, but one was unreliable in direction or refused to move occasionally. Breakfast buffet had a wide choice but quality was below...

"Great budget small hostal, near beach, near restaurants. Took public bus 5 stops to the historical centre, only 2.35 euro return ticket. Don't know why it's only 1*, I've stayed in similar accomodations in eg, Cuba, Dominican Rep, they were 3*. True, it doesn't have any windows, but has an open-air terrace on top. Rooms are spacious, huge bayhroom. We had a car, left it in nearby public parking (multi storey) for 2 days, 25 euros. No valet, of course parked it myself. Overall, great."

"This is an older property but has a lot going for it! (We had low expectations due to some of the reviews) but were actually pleasantly surprised. Hotel is in a great location 2 mins walk to the beach and lots of great bars and restaurants. It’s quiet and yeh rooms are comfy and spacious ( if a little dated) but extremely clean really comfortable beds. Good shower and bathrooms too) there is a mini fridge and a hairdryer and you can also get beach towels at reception for a €10 euro deposit....
