You’re given a key for the main gate ( which is kept locked after 10pm ) unfortunately it’s a faulty lock and took ages to try and get in at times , noticed staff and they already knew about it , said nothing could be done . "Really great location. Right in the middle of the promenade. Lots of shops and restaurants/bakeries/coffee shops. You can walk for 5k either direction. Very clean and large apartment- we had sea view. Very well equipped. Toiletries provuded daily. Small kitchen area with everything that you need. Smart Tv. Definitely recommend. "Oh dear what have we booked into soon turned into wow! this is great. Reception very efficient and helpful. Apartment well equipped. Beach not as busy as further east and just 5 mins away. PLEASE NOTE if you are driving from the east on the gc1 you need to take the Tauro exit and then follow the coast road. The same applies if coming from the Mogan direction as the coast road is closed . You can get on the gc1 at Taurito but not off it. Hope this helps."

We were given an apartment with no hot water, and since we got to the flat late in the evening, the problem wasn’t solved until the day after, when we were told to return to the place to check out so they can clean the apartment and move us to another place. The apartment is very clean, a decent kitchenette with lots of appliances as is the small but perfectly functioning bathroom. Lots of towels and a soap dispenser. The 'pool bar' advertised has been derelict for 3 years. The 'shop' advertised has been derelict for 3 years. "The apartments are spotlessly clean, there is a very nice pool and the location is quite but not to remote. We were due to stay at the Calypso Apartments for two weeks, unfortunately the last week was the first week of the Spanish lock down. This ruined our holiday, but it could have been much worse if it had not been for the owner, Stephen. He was accessible at all times and gave us good intel on a rapidly developing situation. "Absolutely loved the place! Stayed with my sister and the kids and we had a terrific time! The pool area is lovely and so relaxing! The fact that the pools are heated is a biiiig plus! The room was spacious, and the view from the balcony terrific! We could see the ocean and the dunes. 😍 Special thanks to the lovely and kind cleaning ladies who do an absolutely terrific job and made our apartment look spotlessly clean each day! "After staying here a few years ago, i got a good deal for a week self catering for 2 rooms and this was perfect. Rooms were big and slightly modernised, in the peak summer you would prob struggle with only the ceiling fan, but it was fine in April. Only slight disappointment was no late check out despite checking numerous times."
