The Intercontinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort is set on 16 acres nestled in coconut groves, and descending down a cliff to a private white sand beach. The resort features modern Thai architectural themes to create an open feel throughout with panoramic views. There are 7 outdoor swimming pools, including cliff-top and beachfront infinity pools and a children's pool. The hotel also has a ballroom, a full-service spa, tennis courts, fitness centre, and driving range. Several shuttles are available to spots around the island, and excursions can be arranged to go snorkeling at nearby coral reefs, kayaking, paddle boating, or elephant trekking.

There is free parking in a secure lot and an airport shuttle is available on request. Advance notice for the shuttle is required.

Flames - Specializes in freshly caught seafood from the Taling Ngam Village fishermen, cooked live, grilled or flamed on the beach. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Air Bar - Guests can kick back and unwind from the day’s activities while enjoying signature cocktail concoctions. Perched on the cliff at the edge of the main building, the open space Air Bar offers guests the best 360 degree sunset view that Koh Samui has to offer.

Serene - Lobby cafe and cocktail bar, serving a wide range of coffee and tea, homemade pastries, and a wide range of cognac and whiskies in the evening.

The InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam can arrange trips to the surrounding areas with their private yachts and boats to take advantage of Koh Samui's many recreational opportunities. This resort has its own private beach, directly accessible from the property, and can provide guests with beach cabanas, sun loungers, beach towels, and beach umbrellas for a relaxing time in the sun. Visits to neighboring islands are also popular, including the Ang Thong National Marine Park, 30 km (19 miles) offshore, where coral reefs make great snorkeling. The resort can arrange trips to go elephant trekking, learn to cook Thai food, or take in the sights at the island's impressive waterfalls. There is also an 18-hole golf course on the island.

The resort has a clifftop infinity pool a beachside infinity pool, and a children's pool. Two floodlit tennis courts are free of charge and the fitness centre features the latest in fitness equipment. A driving range and ‘pitch and putt' are available. Sea kayaks, windsurf boards, and sailboats can be used by guests throughout the day as well as mountain bikes. Daily guided tours of the surrounding areas can also be arranged.

Located 120 metres (393 feet) above sea level, the Baan Thai Spa is perched on a cliff in the middle of a tropical garden and with an ocean view. The spa offers a wide range of traditional therapeutic services that include Thai and western treatments, Ayurvedic medicine, a variety of massage styles, facials, scrubs, wraps, and herbal compresses.
