I requested accommodations for myself and two dogs. I checked in and went to my room, later returning with my dogs to go to the room for the night. I took them outside later in the evening and the front desk clerk told me I hadn’t told her about the dogs and said I owed $30/pet/night in addition to the $214 and deposit I already paid and that I’d need to move rooms. I said I needed to go remove my stuff from the room and she told me I couldn’t enter. I repeated that I needed to get my stuff and I don’t want to move rooms, I would like a refund since I didn’t agree to the extra charges and they should’ve been up front at the beginning since I had already notified about my dogs. She said that was fine but I needed to call Expedia for my refund since that’s how I booked the room. I contacted Expedia and they told me the front desk lady denied my refund because I had already checked out. (I DID NOT check out) Expedia is also denying involvement. This place had rats outside, a man attempting to cut his wrist with cardboard sawing at his skin, and it had stains all over the curtains, walls, and carpet. There was a strong cigarette and cleaning product smell throughout the whole place. Only one exit was available into or out of the hotel which I found very uncomfortable. I would only recommend this place if you’re trying to do some sketchy stuff. Nothing good will come of this place. Even without this terrible experience, the hotel is gross and located by the freeway/gas station.
