6/10 Okay

"It was ok and the location was perfect for us. However, there was no breakfast because of renovations and I felts for fellow travellers on high level floors because the elevator was out. Also, the subfloor of bathroom in our room needed work - there was an area I tried to avoid standing on which was right in front of the sink. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well stocked with coffees and teas. Location near transportation and shops."

"We checked in but on arriving in our room found it to be a total mess and clearly had not been cleaned. I have never had this happen to me in more than 40+ years of travel. Also lifts were small and quite busy. Good location but disappointing visit."

"Lovely hotel with quirky decor. Friendly greeting on arrival, where I was informed I was "guest of the day" so recieved a complimentary upgrade to one of the penthouse suites. Room was luxurious, with a seperate lounge, 2 lavatory, a bath, rainfall shower, and a lovely outside terrace. Room amenities included a nespresso machine, kettle, bottled water, and a good selection of teas. A basket of snacks including biscuits and crisps was also provided. Toileteries were high-end. Breakfast the next day was good - continental, though there were also some hot items available. Staff, again, were friendly and helpful. Easy check-out."

"Disliked strongly: check-in experience, complicated cafe menu, adding tips without warning, no coffee stir stick or spoon in room , breakfast experience also very bad, on 75% of the visits not enough coffee machines to handle demand , plates cold and food again 75% was lukewarm warm, the bread and toast machine a real joke, no bacon ,just warmed or dried ham, no butter on one occasion , result: only the potato fritters were not cold by the time one had finally collected their breakfast. The table tops felt sticky to one’s bare arms , the juice glasses were always warm, congrats! The food lids and tweezers were awkward and the table clearers overzealous to move people out. The concierge told me one day about ten pound for uber to the coach stn,that cost me thirty when I asked for it the next day. Another thing I particularly resent here and with Raddison Blu is the auto tv hotel commercial thats hard to get rid of. Corporatate smart - Alex money mizers that forget the guests experience!"
