"We had this room booked for months as we were traveling 1,000 of miles during our Alaska visit. We were very disappointed when we arrived to discover the Air Conditioning was not working in our room. The temperature in the room was 81 and very uncomfortable. We complained multiple times and was told they were booked and could not give us another room. In discussion, we discovered it was a known issue and hadn’t been fixed due to their maintenance guy arriving to work drunk. Since we had paid for the room months in advance, I would have expected them to switch our room ahead of time since this was a known issue. Unfortunately this did not happen. We asked for water bottles and were made to pay $3/bottle instead of offering that since the room was so hot. They did offer us a fan. We were ultimately told we would receive and 1/2 price refund. It has been 6 days now and we still haven’t seen the refund."

"The room was much bigger than anticipated but the fridge has crusty food in it. The rest of the room seemed clean enough. There is no sound proofing so I could hear my neighbors tv dialogue very clearly. It was convenient and affordable though. I wouldn’t stay in it without my husband being there next time."
