We didn't like my stay as a matter of fact we didn't want to stay because the staff was rude my nice came to visit they wouldn't let her in until I came to the front desk We came to the room to discuss what we were going to have for dinner. Shortly we left to go to dinner. When we got back, my niece got in her car and left me and my wife went in and they asked me who was the visitor with me? My wife stated, I'm his wife. I had requested a room for two With a queen-sized bed. The bed that was in the room was only a full size bed. I Went to The front desk to see if we can get a room with a queen-sized bed. The guy said that is not possible and I asked if I could speak to his boss. He said no, his boss was not available. I said could you call your boss? He said no, he could not call his boss. I eventually went back to the room to explain to my wife what happened we came back to the front desk and there was another guy Michael Finnegan there. It turned out to be his boss. I told Michael Finnegan about the way he talked to me, he Didn't believe it and tell me if I didn't like it. I could leave. At that moment my wife and I Went back to the room packed out belongings. I'm left and left the 2 keys. At the front desk. I I would like a I am asking for a full refund due to my inconvenience.

To provide clarity, our decision to direct you to vacate immediately from the premises was a result of multiple violations of our hotel policies, disrespectful behavior towards our staff, and the utterance of threats directed at both our management and staff. These serious allegations are currently under investigation by local law enforcement, and your misconduct has been reported to your booking platform.It is with disappointment that we inform you that your conduct has rendered you unwelcome at our hotel. We trust that you will find accommodations more suitable to your preferences elsewhere.

Only concern i had was there is a policy that i was not aware of that you had to live more then 75 miles from hotel to rent the room. The front desk guy was very nice and accommodated since it was so late and i only needed the room for literally 5hrs!!

Second time staying here. Room lighting - table lamps in particular - are under used. I prefer this to overhead. It's a 'thing' for me. Staff was nice. I left early so I didn't get partake of the breakfast service. Short walk to the Uptown Theatre for a show. Staff had differing ideas on whether it's safe to walk back after the show due to an apparent issue with homeless/unhoused. I saw no one - had no issue.

Kansas City is the best! This hotel is old, but the room was super clean and comfortable. Easy to get around town. Lyfts were always affordable. The tram is free. Super friendly people. We love this spot!

Stay here if you like to waste money!
This is by far the worst hotel experience we've ever had. It started as soon as we checked in when the female employee heavy sighed when asked for a luggage cart. The listing shows a kitchenette in the rooms, however there was nothing to use in said kitchenette and the same employee was incredibly rude when asked if she would get those for us. It was a fight to even get a spatula. A different employee wasn't able to provide us with something as simple as coffee. There are also hidden deposit fees for just about everything if you read the sign at the front desk. Signs in the elevator even go so far as to say no alcohol allowed on the premises. The one saving grace of this whole experience was Elaina. She was so sweet and helpful. Thank you Elaina!!!!

Hotel Has a Ton of Problems. They Won't Fix Them
They have a problem with hot water and when I told them about it the person at the desk didn't even ask me my room number, they just shrugged and said that happens sometimes. The coffee machine in the room did not work because it had the wrong carafe and they did not do anything about it, the room was very cold and nothing could be done about the temperature in the room and they did not account for how many cars would be in their parking lot and when I got back to the hotel around midnight I could not park and had to park on the street. Poorly run, disorganized, and did not care about customers. When I tried to mention these things to the person at the desk (I thought maybe they would give me an extra blanket?) they would not do anything to help me.

Recently stayed here for a few days and I must say I absolutely loved staying here. My room was basically a one bedroom apartment with a bed in the living room. Two separate TVs so my kid was able to watch what he wanted. The only complaint is that the walls are a little thin so anyone with a remotely loud voice is easily heard and conversations or “activities” can be heard as well. The staff does emphasize a keep your voice down policy when you check in. The parking is a little small so don’t try to find parking at 11 pm. They do have an overflow parking in the next parking lot over, but it’s not theirs so it doesn’t have that same secure feeling as their brightly lit and actively surveil lanced parking lot. Would definitely stay here again.

Easily one of the best places I have ever stayed and I’ve stayed at well over 100 hotels/motels etc. I cannot recommend this enough. Super clean, everyone was friendly and helpful. I stayed on the first floor in the suite and it was incredible.

We could not stay at this property. We were told they did not rent rooms to black people since they have problems with black people in the area. We had to contact another hotel for a room.

Booked the room a month ago. Was turned away when arriving at the property because of a ludicrous policy. If you live in a 75 mile radius of the property you are not allowed to rent a room from this hotel. We were not made aware of the policy at any point before arriving at the property. I called twice before check in to confirm the booking was still good. It was confirmed both time. The worst part was there was a group of local people who were able to rent their room with no problem. The staff were argumentative and rude, they did not want to cooperate to try to fix the situation. The manager was absolutely terrible to deal with and embarrassed their company. I will never do business with a Quality Inn again. Luckily we had friends from out of town who were able to book a room but they made us pay TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS MORE than what I originally booked the room for. Absolutely crooks. Thievery. Modern day bank robbing. The room was also not as advertised and stunk when we got in it. Also the parking situation is egregious. The parking lot is small and hardly accessible. A nightmare when it’s full. Stay away from this property. Do not do business with these crooks

Pro: Clean, and spacious Nice setup up with full size refrigerator. Con: Needed light in back room with the table, adjacent to the bathroom. I was totally unable to use as office area for computer, and paper work after sunset. Con: No access for handicapped people available, or explained. If it is available, never stated at the check-in. Biggest CON: No luggage carts available for my luggage on site. With my crippled right hand, unable to move all my stuff upstairs, had to leave in the car. This created an unnecessary theft risk, as my luggage would not fit in my small trunk area.

The heat is control by the front desk. 67 degrees is to cold when it's raining and 34 degrees out side phones didn't work. Front doors wasn't working we check out and found a different place per the front desk we will get a refund ...... We are still waiting

This hotel has a zero tolerance for noise after 9 pm posted at the front desk. The hotel also has a washer and dryer for guests which shared a wall with our room. Someone decided to use the washer and dryer at 11:15 pm which was loud and woke us up. I requested another room. Originally, he told me we would give me another room. After a long delay, he said that there were no rooms available. I told him that his parking lot was only half full and I wanted to talk to a manager which I never did talk to. After more discussion, the front office person said he did have a room, but it would be an additional charge of $25.00. After more discussion, we finally got another room, which had dirty sheets and dead bugs in the room. I told the front office person that I didn't like being lied to. That is the first and last time that I will stay at a Quality Inn. Jim

Seemed better in pictures.
The pictures online were good and seemed like it’d be a nice hotel for our one night we needed to stay in Kansas City. We showed up and other residents were smoking weed in the parking lot. The elevator and hallways smelled of marijuana. Our door didn’t seem to shut and lock the way it should. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my work computer in this hotel while we went shopping. We ended up checking out after about 20 minutes and got a different hotel. We didn’t receive a refund at all. So we were out our $130. For $170 we found a nicer hotel in a better part of town. The check in clerk and staff were friendly, but the hotel all together wasn’t up to par.
