"Nice property- rooms are a good size. Temperature for the shower was way off- wouldn’t hold a consistent temperature. Parking spots are very narrow, and disappointed we had to pay for overnight parking even though we were staying there. Staff was very friendly."
"I love the Royal Kona and have stayed there many times since 2018. It is an older resort, but the pool, the lagoon, and Don the Beachcomber restaurant are wonderful, as are the members of the staff."
"My room was always cleaned well and was accommodating to my 6 month old baby. The pool was nice and well kept. The only small complaint could be that the customer service was hit or miss on the friendliness. All the guys at the valet were nice and fast. If you want a drink at the pool you’re gonna go up to the bar and get it yourself. Food at the hotel was so so. Better to eat off property. Other than that it was a great hotel stay."
"The condo was clean and we loved the layout and the ocean view. What we didn't love is that the fact that there was no AC. We got a message the day before that if we want ac in the bedroom or living it would be an extra fif teen bucks. We didn't like it but at that point figured it is what it is. Well when we got there the was 1 portable AC that what made not portable and it was in the corner of the living room. There was a Murphy bed in the living room and we ended up having to sleep on it because it was way too hot in the bedroom. I would not expect this issue in Hawaii. Other than the AC issue it's an amazing property but the AC is a big deal to us for our comfort."
