OUTRIGGER Kaanapali Beach Resort

"We had a wonderful week at the Outrigger Kaanapali. The location is definitely the star of the show. I love being able to walk to places to eat, drink and entertain while on vacation. Snorkeling right outside the resort and a few steps away at Black Rock are both great. Whalers Village is super fun and convenient. We purchased the breakfast package through Expedia and we were so glad we did! It allows you anything off the Maui Brewing restaurant breakfast menu, except for cold brew and alcohol. We loved the Avocado and Smoked Salmon Toast, the Benedict, the Breakfast Croissant Sando and the Churro Waffle Bites. I feel like it helped save us money each morning to only need to tip."

"Having a two bedroom, two bathroom, kitchen, and laundry all in your room with a family of five was amazing! Not sure how we will ever be able to stay in a normal hotel room again! The pool was perfect and where we spent most of our time. Staff were very nice and the property was kept clean. The price was very reasonable if not on the cheaper side for Hawaii. There was a food truck park literally right next door which was nice to try several of the local different foods. The only downside was the beach sand area was very small, we went to a beach at a different hotel which was way nicer. It’s almost likely they built up to the beach too close. Also apparently they have free DVD kiosks you can rent from but no one ever told us at check in. Overall it was a 9/10 stay!"

"Location and hotel was exceptional. Specially the 24 hr gym and pool made all the difference. Only 2 issue I had was booking for the luau ticket. Requested for VIP experience which was confirmed.. but when I got to the area, I was told it was not booked so created lil disappointment. And ordered food and drink by the pool, there was an automatic 15% great included, which I wouldn’t have mind paying but I had to pick up my own drink and food was packed for to go without asking and I had to pick up so, didn’t understand what the gratuity was for. But over all good"

"The property was beautiful and within easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops. The different pools and activities are top notch, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would DEFINITELY recommend and stay here again!"

"I liked the location. The property and the beach were great. There was one particular front desk staff member who checked us in who was not clear on some important details regarding the resort fee and use of a 75 dollar credit that came with our room. The same agent also was unhelpful when it came to having our room cleaned. There were more amenities that we could have used at the resort but the same front desk staff member did not explain anything about that either. It really was the one staff member that brought the score down for the hotel. I know it's one person but the front desk is the face of a hotel and should be better."

"View was great. Quiet and peaceful. Close to many things to do. The only downside was the water pressure is not great for showers. Also the washer and dryers are free but not in the units. They are near the elevators and shared. Each floor has their own washer and dryer."
