"Breakfast was the highlight each day, great choices. Dorms were okay, but did smell like they were cleaned with dirty water some days. "The hostel was okay. Locations was good. It did not feel very clean. It was dirty. Thankfully had an air condition but it’s only setting was freezing. Which I guess is good if your in humid Brazil. Sheets they provided were pretty gross. It was a fitted sheet and thin sheet. No blanket. But the people were very nice. "

"Poor experience given the price paid which was $30 per night for a dormitory. The breakfast buffet is minimal and dissolved quickly by people who literally thrust it into their bags without any oversight, and from thereon it isn't replenished correctly for all the other guests.The guy responsible for making the breakfast was super rude too. "Sent five emails no response from property regarding transport to property and tours. Staff nice bit know very little about getting to sites, cost open times, etc just try to sell overpriced tour. Kitchen facility limited supplies and not clean."

"I was only there for two nights. They did a good job of letting me in and out of the building. They also let me store my belonging while I waited for check-in. That was very nice. The bathrooms weren't ideal. The part that I really struggled with was the horrible beds and the bugs that were everywhere while I slept. I probably got about twenty bug bites while staying in that hostel. "

"Staff were amazing! Helpful and friendly. Can arrange airport transfer for you. They all spoke English very well. There is a common area downstairs with a bar and free filtered water and lots of plugs to charge your electronics. The bunk beds were a little scary, very unstable. You only get two sheets and a pillow case so if you get a free blanket on your airline keep it! There is one plug in each bed spot. Rooms are air conditioned. It was a little expensive for a shared room with bunk beds but...

"Lennon and the rest of the staff were great. The hostel is in Leme, close to Copocabana, but has some limited transportation. The hostel itself was well maintained, and the other guests were enjoyable to spend time with. Overall I recommend this Hostel"

"All things considered, this is a really good hostel. I mean, first of all it's really cheap. You can easily get a bed for 6 quids. Sure you have to pay for other things like towels or padlocks but they are also really cheap. Drinks are pretty good also. I was surprised that I had AC on the room, most hostels in Brazil don't have them. And this is very important because it's really hot in Rio. You wouldn't believe how hot it gets, even at night. And most important: wifi works. As in really works...
