“Not recommended!”

The location is extremely tricky to find and reach by car, even for locals like me. Parking is also not available at the hotel, but guests are directed to a nearby private car park. There was no minibar in my room, but a basket containing nuts and biscuits etc. The worst part was when I opened a bag of peanuts I discovered that the expiry date was three months ago. Then I checked other items in the basket and at least half of them had expired too. I informed reception about this on check-out and they were very apologetic. However this kind of thing is totally unacceptable at a hotel at this level. I booked this hotel because it was an Expedia secret hotel at a special rate, and advertised as Besiktas area. It is definitely nowhere near Besiktas, but more like Maslak, which is rather far away from Besiktas actually. This is something to bear in mind when you're booking for business trips. To summarise, it was a disappointing experience overall and I would defintiely not go back there.
