The room and pub restaurant was great. The food was amazing! Had a lovely outdoor seating area where we had dinner. A great stay.

Lovely pub with excellent food and friendly staff. Pub was nice and warm with a log fire. Separate rooms were cosy but could have done with a towel rail.

Our stay at The Bell Broadway was really lovely. Staff were all very friendly and couldn’t have been any more helpful. Fabulous country pub with roaring fire and great food/bar with wood fired pizza! Rooms clean and had everything we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay.

So lovely
We travelled to Ilminster from York for a wedding this weekend. We didn't know what to expect, but after a long drive we were welcomed by the lovely staff and shown to our room. The room was clean, comfortable and modern, although the double bed is pushed up against the wall which did make it a bit trickier for the person against the wall to get in and out without disturbing the other person (especially if you need the toilet in the night!). Breakfast in the morning was lovely and great quality. We stayed for two nights and didn't expect housekeeping to go in and make the beds/change the towels after night 1, but they did which we were really grateful for. We would definitely recommend The Bell at Broadway for great value,comfort and a really warm welcome.

The Bell is a lovely country pub with comfortable rooms, excellent food and a good selection of beers and ciders. The staff were all friendly, polite and chatty and i would certainly stay there again when in the area.

Overnight stopover
Welcome and service throughout our stay were excellent. Food was very good and room, although small, met our needs for our stay. Would recommend that travellers request an upstairs room as the early hours noise from above with guests using their bathroom was really intrusive. Overall, a lovely pub in a beautiful location with excellent staff.

Great stay in atmospheric pub with live music.
A great stay at this lovely village pub. Great atmosphere drinking a pint in front of a roaring log fire. Food was excellent.

Very friendly place to stay, bar and restaurant was very pleasant to have on site. Hosts accommodated my wife's food allergies for breakfast and in the restaurant (She is vegan, also has allergies to gluten and dairy) The room was immaculately clean as was the bar and restaurant. Service and staff excellent!

The bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well. The system of getting breakfast delivered to the door at 8am was a new thing to us. When we asked for some filter coffee, that was also provided. The breakfast was a good quality item. Being able to eat in the restaurant was really good. The pizzas are very good.

Room clean, friendly & helpful staff. Continental breakfast was good but would expect a full cooked breakfast for the price. Rooms are very small, dbl bed only accessible from one side. Breakfast left outside room & there is only 1 chair and no table so eating it isn't easy. Noise from room above until after 1am including bathroom noise! Also noise of feet on the metal access stairs to rooms above, plus noise from car park as folk were laughing & chatting after leaving the pub after midnight. Expensive compared with other B&B's. Would not use again.
