The only weird thing is that if you have a guest staying in the living room on the pullout couch, the only bathroom is in the bedroom. But other than that, this is a great apartment. "Ice apartments are a lovely place to stay while in 101 Reykjavik. Perfect location right at rainbow street, modern clean apartments and great communication with owners. They let me check in early as a courtesy and that was very nice of them as they didn’t have to do that for us. I would absolutely recommend them and would stay back there again when I come back to Reykjavik. "

"Great place for a family of four with young kids. The river and mountains were just outside our door. Very spacious and comfortable room. The staff was incredibly accommodating, too. We flew into Reykjavik late afternoon and drove up that evening. We got there just as their restaurant was closing, and they stayed open late for us. "

"This was a perfect location to enjoy Reykjavik by foot. Literally on top of a grocery store, and a short walk from an endless number of restaurants and bars. We got to enjoy three nights here as we reset after doing the Ring Road, and the extra room was appreciated as we repacked for the flight home. Parking was easy in the neighborhood, and if you go a block further away, you can save a ton by parking in zone 2. "

"The property is as described, bigger than we expected and came equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the friendly and helpful host who showed us in. One disappointment was the mention of an on-site restaurant in the communication message where we could dine and therefore we opted not to bring groceries for doing our own cooking, but was told when arrived everything was closed, leaving us with no food on New Year's Day. "A wonderful basement apartment. The hosts were very communicative and the place was absolutely amazing. Gorgeous bathroom with a really luxurious shower. We stayed the night before flying out and really enjoyed the convenience and the hosts. 10/10!!!"
