Really enjoyed staying in the room that was on 2 floors. Great view of the sea. Room was OK. needs updating as does the rest of the hotel. The lift is very small. Could only get 2 small people in it. Not much room for anything else. Great Indian restaurant inside the hotel. Highly recommended that. Great location just needs updating. Great staff.

No sea view as such but very close to the beach. The hotel looked fine online and upon arrival, staff super friendly and welcoming… However, the room was exceptionally poor. Entrance was via the Indian restaurant…literally walking with my case between tables…not particularly appealing. The room was beyond tired.. almost dead. Carpet dirty and torn, curtains ripped and although a fan of shabby chic, this was only the former. Desk looked as if it had newly arrived from a skip. The bathroom looked clean but I did not try the taps etc. Bed linen looked acceptable but not keen on sleeping in the room. The aroma of damp caravan was very off putting. Incredibly disappointed and after 10 mins in the room, I left to stay at another hotel. It’s a shame, as staff very friendly and I felt terrible for leaving….I would strongly suggest avoiding this establishment.

Great sea view.

We asked for a quiet room with a sea view but the first room was clearly not going to be quiet so we were given another room which was perfect. It had a huge picture window with great views of the sea. The room was newly decorated, comfortable bed but tired furniture.

We booked it as it was dog friendly as it was. The bed was very comfortable and the facilitates adequate. The room only had very small windows so there was very little ventilation and it was very difficult to sleep. We found a fan which was of some help however, the dog did get stressed.

Well situated hotel on the sea front with easy walk into town. Ideal stopover for travellers on Eurotunnel which is only a short drive away.
