Out stay at Surfjack was exceptional. The hotel staff was kind and generous. We had an issue with our safe and it was fixed within the hour. The premises are newly renovated. The property is beautiful. I highly recommend using the pool and dining at the restaurant in the hotel.
Will be returning to the Surfjack the next time we visit Honolulu.
The room was clean and was refreshed daily by the housekeepers. The restaurant is awesome a must try if you are staying here! The nightly music by the pool was also a much enjoyed part of our stay. Would definitely book again.
We had a day layover in Honolulu so we didn't spend much time there, however we landed way earlier than check in and the staff allowed us to store our luggage at the counter while we went and got lunch. Even offered us use of facilities before we were checked in. Very friendly staff!
Pretty hip and stylish. Great coffee shop in the lobby downstairs. Nice spot to have as a base to explore Waikiki without being in the most chaotic and busy spots on the main strip.
Great location and well-kept property. Parking was free, but it was off-site. If you are able to walk a few blocks it won't be a problem.
My only criticism is that the walls are thin. I am a light sleeper, and even on the 7th floor noise from the street or neighboring rooms would wake me up. Other than that, this place is a great find.
We enjoyed our stay at The Surfjack. The building has been remodeled and the upkeep and cleanliness is outstanding. The only issue is the lack of parking facilities. We were provided with validated parking tickets, however the parking facility is two blocks away. This creates an unpleasant issue if walking back to the hotel during inclement weather or during very late night/early morning where safety then becomes an issue.
Very enjoyable stay! Our room was nice and clean and staff were friendly. The adjacent streets were quite noisy in the mornings between traffic and construction I think.
Nice relaxing atmosphere! Parking is easy to get to for keeping the rental car. On location restaurant has awesome food and loved the nightly entertainment. Just a few blocks to Waikiki Beach!
I loved the nightly live music sessions and the open pool on the first floor. Coming into the hotel always uplifted my mood and we looked forward to coming back to the hotel at the end of every day!
Loved how this older hotel was updated using local art and contemporary design. The bar staff were passionate about their craft. The food and drinks were top notch. The best feature was eliminating all these new resort fees. Everything including parking fees was included so we knew exactly what we were spending. Icing on the cake was Jack and all the dogs -so cool.
When I asked for that ocean view, and we already pay for that. still, I have not received the OC view. They already sold to somebody when i reached at the hotels for check in they can’t find my reservation. Extremely bad service how they can not find my reservation.
Rooms and hallways ok. Not the cleanest. Staff friendly. Parking is 2 blocks away at the Hyatt Centric hotel lot. Takes more than 10 minutes to get there due to the one way streets and walking back.
This hotel prides itself as being a mid century hotel. I get it, it’s stuck in the 1950’s or 60’s. Furnishings are old and worn. No amenities. Not even bottled water in the room. No view. Decent location.
Overall our stay was great. The hotel is very cute and well-kept. The pool and lounge area were very comfortable and the live music every night was a pleasant surprise. Our only issue was the lack of a chair in the room. We had requested a single bed room but were given a 2 double bed room. Having 2 beds in the room was tight and there was no other place to sit. However, the room was clean, decorated well and the bed was comfortable enough.
