The property was very clean and had been upgraded. There was a bus stop right outside the entrance but it was only a ten minute walk to Waikiki beach and there were many restaurants and shops within a five minute or less walk.

This property is condos - not a hotel. When we arrived, we could not find a check-in desk. After we mentioned Expedia, the security guard directed us to VI Resorts which was a office off the main entrance.

We own a timeshare at this property, but always come a day early and stay a day late. The units provided were very nicely updated from our own units. Desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. We typically pay a fortune at a resort, but will definitely be stay here in the future.

Room was clean and modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the elevators were horribly slow to arrive, but that is minor, plus one of the three was out of service, so that did not help. Overall I would recommend this property for your vacation stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Kuhio. I have been travelling to Waikiki for over 20 years with my Gran but this was our first time renting our own place. The rooms were clean and supplied everything we needed. I was especially happy about the number of pillows and towels we were supplied with. The location is great for us as we have stayed on the same street and it is close to shopping centres and the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed at Royal Kuhio now for over 35 years. We love the proximity to everything. While the property shows some age they’re upgrading something each time we come back. Hidden gem.
