“Best Kept Secret on the High Street”
Clearly a wonderful and refreshing change from the traditional Hong Kong hotels. A touch of Alice in Wonderland rather than the Lar de dar of The Langham!
“Oasis of calm in the madness of Kowloon”
The Luxe Manor is situated in Kowloon, just off Nathan Road which is one of the busiest places in Hong Kong. Fantastically situated for all attractions, with the Star Ferry a mere 10 mins saunter away. It is decorated in a modern fusion of new and old, east and west. Lots of reds, lots of beautiful furniture. The room was large, the beds comfortable, air conditioning well placed. Bathroom and shower were fantastic for washing away the grime of the day. We were made to feel very welcome and I would recommend to anyone. My only gripe would be that we were "advised" to write a review on Tripadvisor within 5 minutes of being shown our room, which I feel was pretty presumptious. Breakfast was good, staff smiling and the limo service was worth it too! All in all great value for money!
“A most unusual hotel”
My husband and I stayed at the Luxe Manor for just three nights en-route to New Zealand and had a fantastic time. The hotel has a most unique decor and is very well situated to explore both Hong Kong and Kowloon. The breakfast is good and there are plenty of places nearby the hotel for dinner for all budgets.
“Very nice relaxing hotel”
We really enjoyed this hotel - service was very good with good rooms (not huge, but nicely furnished), excellent breakfast (and it goes on until 10.30) and food (Italian restaurant was not cheap, but was good standard). Its also really near to Tsim Sha Tsui metro station. Price was good in relation to quality. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Loved the Luxe”
We loved the Luxe Manor, it is such a fun quirky hotel, the rooms arent massive but big enough, and our room was spotlessly clean. We like the small touches like free internet access if you had your own laptop etc, the chocolate at turn down, the free bottled water, the welcome beer or cocktail. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was very good a short walk to the harbour, or to one of the many shopping areas, or mtr, so very handy to everything. The only negative we had was the breakfast it was not the best with so much choice of fab food around I would suggest going out for breakfast. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you fancy something different from the normal larger 4-5* hotel chains.
“GOOD HOTEL IN EXCELLENT CENTRAL LOCATION”
First night in room on third floor was very noisy with loud music from club below but the reception staff transferred us to the 11th floor next morning without fuss and this was very quiet - and a bit bigger too. DO NOT ACCEPT A THIRD FLOOR ROOM IF YOU LIKE PEACE AND QUIET.
“Simply one the best hotels.”
I do not normally write reviews but after my stay at the Luxe Manor, I decided that for once I will comment. The bed was super comfortable and I had the most comfortable rest. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel location was excellent. The service was superb and the staff were very helpful. I will be staying at The Luxe Manor on all my future visits to Hong Kong. Strongly recommend this hotel.
“Uniquely stylish”
Not a "Chinese" hotel, but an eclectic fantasy mix of European-ish styling. The restaurant serves Italian food, so if you are looking for an authentic Chinese experience, this is not the hotel for you. However if you are fed up with bland international styling, and want somewhere a little different, this hotel is very comfortable and is well located in Kowloon just off the Nathan Road, in an area that starts to feel a little more authentic than the overtly international tourist areas nearer the harbour.
“really cool boutique hotel”
gorgeous quirky boutique hotel in centre of kowlooon
“Luxe Manor - Great Base in Hong Kong”
Wow, I had read some good reviews on this place, but you always tend to treat them with skepticism. Anyway this place really has the wow factor, staff are superb rooms are well fitted and quiet, with no noise from outside. Breakfast was great, Hash Browns Scambled Egg and smoked salmon, along with cereals, youghets and juices, plenty to set you up for the day. Location cannot be beaten, 5mins walk from TST Metro and 8mins from Jordan St. 10Mins walk to Star Ferry Terminal. Free Bus from Kowloon Airport Express station, on the way back we went by Taxi as we left early in morning and taxi to station was 2Quid.
