Great value for money and very helpful staff. Rooftop bar and restaurant lovely. Rooms a bit small and some don't have a window but for the price and location its brilliant.

“Great value super clean friendly staffed hotel”

The hotel is in the busy "back packer" area of district 1, full of life, tourists and plenty of street eating establishments serving great, cheap Vietnamese foods. The staff were consistently helpful, polite, and happy to help. Many of them spoke excellent English. The hotel was clean, well maintained and air condtioned. The breakfasts were great, providing plenty of choice, both European and local foods. Cooked breakfasts were prepared to order and served to your table with a smile. I had a deluxe room which while beautifully clean and well kept, was rather smaller than the photographs suggested which was a slight disappointment on first sight but in no way spoiled my stay. The roof terrace is great and gives a marvelous view across the city and is a very pleasnat spot to watch the sun go down while drinking an ice cold beer.

"We are family" is the hotel slogan. The staff were always very friendly, cheerful and helpful. We stayed here on 3 different occasions during our holiday in Vietnam. They remembered our names and were always up to date with where we had been and what was next on our itineraries. The tea and fruits in the lobby were always a treat. Complimentary water and popcorn snacks in the rooms. Our first room was a basic room without windows onto the street. We found this room had enough space and we welcomed the quietness. The second room was a free upgrade to a triple room, which was more spacious. There was a window that faced the street but the noise level was fine and we slept through the night. The design of the shower was terrible, we almost flooded the bathroom. The third room we had was also a triple. It felt smaller than the last two rooms we had. This room had a window facing the back street. There was karaoke at night and then very loud road works in the morning!
