"We stayed three nights at this hotel and unfortunately experienced multiple significant issues during our stay.
Upon arrival, the air conditioning in our original room was completely nonfunctional, requiring us to pack up and move rooms late at night. While we appreciated being relocated, the replacement suite also had air-conditioning problems. The bedroom unit did not cool adequately, and one of us ended up sleeping on the couch for part of the stay because the living area was noticeably cooler than the bedroom.
Two days into our three-night stay, we were then asked to move rooms a second time because the suite we had been placed in had been reserved by another guest. After already dealing with a maintenance issue, a late-night room move, and inadequate air conditioning in the replacement room, being asked to pack and relocate again during such a short stay was frustrating and disruptive.
What was most disappointing was the customer service surrounding the situation. Rather than focusing on an apology, reasonable resolution or compensation, the conversations with front desk management became centered on our need to vacate the room for the next guest who’d been promised a jacuzzi tub.
The hotel was clean the pool was nice and the location was convenient, but the combination of the maintenance issues and the way the front desk treated us was unacceptable and embarrassing. We’re working with Best Western Corporate at this point."
