The staff at the hotel are really helpful and friendly but the property itself is somewhat tired and in need of TLC. In contrast to many reviews, our room with a Loch view was well presented and well equipped. However, the floor in the bathroom is uneven and there is evidence of a leak from the floor above, by the window. It is such a shame that there has been little investment as the location is outstanding, staff are great and the facilities are good. We had a great breakfast and the bar area is welcoming, if dated.

Easy to check in and check out. Food was tasty, and reasonably priced for the style of hotel/restaurant. Parking is easy with parking at the top or bottom of the hill, and an entrance either end. Staff were lovely and facilities were good. I would definitely recommend.

We thought the greeting , after a very long tiring drive in bad conditions was awful. No smiles , no pleasantries and rather grumpy and at breakfast they only wanted to remind us that we owed them £10 each. Not an uplifting experience but everything else was fine

Very comfortable accommodation. The staff were lovely and the loch views were breathtaking. I would certainly recommend. Both the evening meal and breakfast buffet were a 5/5. Lovely gateway away for the weekend for those looking for something peaceful.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay most enjoyable only one slight problem kettle in room was a hazard as not enough sockets therefore was quite dangerous other than that i would fully recommend
