The property is very old. But for the price, the room was clean, beds comfortable and clean sheets. The exterior, stairwell and doors were not clean, very old and require repairs. It fitted the purpose.

Some bottled water in fridge would have been nice. Didn’t get to speak to staff when I needed to ask a question. Battery in tv remote needed changing. It was fairly quiet, very clean & tidy & close to town.

Shower took several minutes before it got warm, and even then it was on full. I was in a upstairs room facing a street, when there were several vacant rooms facing town, with a balcony. Room was clean and comfy, though.

Nice large room on 2nd floor with balcony, tree was a little large for a view over the harbour. Pool was a little green and filter had a lot of old leaves in it. Air conditioner was nice and quiet. Car parking had lots of large spaces.

The reception is mostly unattended and no one answers the phones. The rooms are not serviced daily and one wonders how the milk for the tea/coffee would be replenished.

Terrible check in had to ask where room was & no information given. No service to room during 3 day stay. Bed not made, no wipe down or clean of bathroom, no clean towels or replenishment of tea/ coffee. Advised service only done on check out.

Hi Philip, sorry you had a bad experience. At reception, our staff give guests information about location of room, parking arrangements, and room amentities. Rooms are not serviced daily and are only serviced upon request. After seven nights or more, rooms are serviced weekly.

I didn’t mind the room itself although the fact I had to keep adjusting the tap on the toilet so it would refill properly and then it would continue to make a loud noise so then I would have to go turn it back down a bit was very annoying. The fridge was not real cold even on higher settings and the freezer was not defrosted to the point you couldn’t put anything in it not even an ice tray. Everything else wasn’t too bad though.

Room was not overly clean and front desk staff was not very interested in serving upon check in. Very abrupt when asked for directions to room.
