Good location across the street from mall with large food court, pharmacy, shops, etc. Also easy walking to waterfront and Straits Quay marina, food and shops. The hotel offered a very good breakfast buffet and made to order omelets and other offerings.

Returning Guests Not given Due Recognition
We are Returning Guests and return on an almost monthly basis. My Wife was really upset when we were not given our usual room, but instead were given a room facing a block of flats (Therefore Compromising our Privacy) even though I had paid for a Suite Room. We had had a bad experience at such a room, so my wife was pretty unhappy! The Duty Manager then acted like he was doing us the biggest favour hen he gave us a same type of room we usually paid for, but charged us MYR 100 per night. Shameful treatment for returning guests! I was also denied a later checkout and they wanted to charge me again for this, so I just checked out at 9 30 a.m.instead of the requested 2 p/m/ which caused me and my Wife much Inconvenience. Not so happy with them this time...

Jazz hotel is spacious and it's fairly new! It comes w bathtub! However, tbe location wasn't fantastic as it require 15mim drive to Georgetown and there's nothing nearby except for a super old mall just opposite. Jazz hotel itself has pharmacy and happy mart which makes things convenient for us to get our necessities. Housekeeping wasn't with standard. Some days they change towel for you, some days they don't. They don't even replace toilet rolls! We have to ask for it.

Hotel is new, clean, simple. Convenient to supermarket tesco. Foods not fresh, a few of us had diarrhea. Swimming pool water needs regular cleaning. My body itch after the swim. overall is good and only it is away from town.

The hotel staffs are friendly and good service. 👍 However, the phone in the room is not functioning and I can’t make call to the receptions or housekeeping when I need something. Also, hotel should provide more tv programmes / channels for us to staying in the hotel for few nights.

Staff is helpful and hotel cleaniness is tiptop..Location is just 15mins drive to Gurney Paragon (Grab = RM15), just opp.Tesco.

Everything was great except the shower. The hot/cold knob not controlling the hot water well. Front desk can be improved by having more seniors there as the juniors are not well versed.

The Check-in in was swift and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay and liked the room especially when there’s a bathtub in the toilet. Complimentary soft drinks in the mini bar is a plus. It’s a pretty new hotel so everything looks clean n fresh. the decor and pipe in music are all themed to the Tune of Jazz, I wonder why 😂

I like my stay at this hotel, the hotel room is big, new and clean but it is not located near town. But is fine for me as I just want to stay at room and relax. The breakfast is good and there is a Japanese restaurant in hotel offering 20% discount to in house guests. Worth for the food.

Hotel Staff are friendly, pity that i didn't utilise the facilities. Not sure if the room temperature is centralised as I can't seem to change the temperature in my room. Other than that, all is good.

🛫The hotel offers much more than what it charges you. The rooms are splendid and the bathroom facilities are unmatched. The staff are generally very kind and responsive. My only complaint was about the gym. It meeds some improvement. Overall I strongly recommend this hotel. The location is great and close to many shopping malls and well served by public transport.

Not much to say about this place other than it was awesome. The staff were super professional, the service was amazing. Breakfast selection in the morning was huge with a mix of both western and eastern tucker. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We were 4 aussie fellas well out of our normal holiday digs. There is a laundry 3 doors down from the hotel to do washing, it cost us a couple of dollars to wash and dry 10kg. nice bar complex just up the road to with and watch the boats, and footy if needed. If you are heading to Penang and want value for money with 5 star service book the Jazz.

Staff are helpful, l arrived and asked for an upgrade to a Seaview room and they got it arranged. Check in was slow and l was hungry so my friend and l headed straight to the Japanese Restaurant. See photos, great staff very knowledgeable man who served us. Food quality was OK, Asahi Beer was a rip off RM 26 per can. Rooms were spacious trying to be different with the Shmpoo in tubes etc. Overall good value for money. BREAKFAST Not a bad selection at all adequate. The coffee machine was slow, but the waiters offered to deliver it to the table. Overall a pleasant stay👍👍👍😁

Great hotel, great value for money.
Great hotel, everything was superb from the check in, to the wonderfully appointed room, the excellent breakfast buffet, the free parking to the friendliness of the staff. This is the best hotel I stayed in Penang. That is if you're not after a beach holiday. No beach in sight. For me no issue, but for others possibly a drawback.
