Nice place to visit for a long weekend break. Nothing is walking distance around the area but Batu Ferringgi is a few mins away by car or public transportation. The hotel should do more to accommodate vegetarian dining options. Overall a nice stay with lovely sea views and comfortable rooms.

Lack of communication
We had to checkin late and the hotel lobby was dark and there’s no signs for hotel lobby or where to park. There’s no informations given to where the parking garage and the room was. We were on the second floor ,to get to breakfast we had to take the elevator down and up again . Room was clean and view was good

Amazing hotel and beach location. Staff are all helpful and really accommodating. The two bedroom suite with Seaview is a fantastic room for families. Highly recommend!

Room was close to one of the event venues and it was noisy even with the balcony door closed. Tried to order in room dining and many of the items were unavailable while it was difficult to secure a delivery for food as there were few options available around the area.

Great destination - out of town
We stayed here recently for 5 days on our honeymoon. The resort is well kept with multiple pools, hangout, and dining locations. If traveling back to George Town area for day-trips, allow about an hour of travel time. There isn't much within walking distance so bring supplies with you, or be prepared to travel a bit for a local market. We had a 'free mini bar' included however there is only soft drinks which you can drink once only, then have to pay for replenishment. The included buffet breakfast was awesome however, tables were slow to be cleared and re-seated resulting in long queues, even when tables were empty. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

The sea view is great. The room is clean and with smart TV that comes with generous channels and connectivity with my mobile, I enjoyed myself watching shows or listening to my own selection of musics while in the room. The weekend buffet was very good: the spa was good and what it probably short of is the evening happy hour package.

I recently stayed at this hotel in a two-bedroom deluxe seaview suite. The room itself was spacious and lovely. However, the long walk down the corridor to reach the lift was a bit tiring. The grey and black color theme throughout the hotel wasn't my preference. Dinner buffet at the Jendela restaurant had a limited selection, and I was disappointed to find simple items like ice cream missing from the dessert counter. Additionally, there weren't many local eateries nearby, leaving fewer dining options outside the hotel.

This has been our favourite stay in Malaysia. The view from our room was magnificent and the pool wonderful. It’s a bit of a hike from the airport and Georgetown but if you’re looking for a bit of a staycation as well as some touristing not a bad option. I had a lovely spa treatment which was also first rate.

Excellent stay
We took the 2 bedroom room which provided ample space for our family of 4. Housekeeping also came consistently at the same time everyday and made sure that all was spick and span. I love the little touches like the turn down service where they will come in to light up the oil burner with the scent of the day. Since it was energy saving hotel, the aircon did turn off by itself. So we had to manually turn it on as it can get too hot.

During this trip We had been staying The Face Suites and Pullman in KL but Angsana has surpassed them all as it was modern, new, luxurious and an amazingly beautiful seaview. The only point not so perfect was the hotel was so big but the gym was a bit small compared to other 5* hotels. Also it was a bit secluded. It took 40-45 minutes to get to George town. But if anyone wants a peaceful and relaxing holiday then staying at Angsana would be a perfect place

Loved my stay at Angsana. Rooms were clean and well appointed, with everything you expect from a 5 star hotel. My only complaint is that there not much to do/eat nearby, so planning and travel is needed to get to nearby towns.

Although the breakfast and dinner buffet were 6/10 at best, the service provided by the staffs were quite impressive. I had some memorable moments at Jamboree (excellent service by Mac) as well but they were a bit overwhelmed by the amount of patrons. The live band was freaking incredible (the kind where I didn’t want to leave). In particular, Haziq from the breakfast buffet, and Isahak and Amalina from the weekend dinner buffet were really amazing. I was genuinely surprised by the service they’ve provided, considering they are priced lower than some major hotel brands. Put it this way, the service I received at Jendela was more hospitable than what I’ve experienced at the Ritz-Carlton KL. The staffs at the swimming pool were very friendly as well. However, the thing that surprised me the most is the warmth of the housekeeping team (especially Nayeem). He is very attentive and remembers tiny yet important details. Very very friendly, helpful, and warm-hearted. I’ve stayed at several Ritz, W, FS, and Sofitel properties but I’ve never had anything memorable from their housekeeping department. Nayeem really made a difference during my stay at Angsana. At this point, I would be disappointed if the management does not commend Nayeem after reading this review.

Ok for a short staycation
Room was a bit worn despite the hotel being very modern overall. Cleanliness could have been better (small blood stains on sheets missed) and under the bed was not cleaned. Breakfast was not well planned with staff unable to keep up with demand. Despite all this I do consider it good value.

A Surprise Gem
My 3 nights stay was a fantastic experience. Booked the hotel to experience Penang's natural beauty. This is definitely not for the thrill seeker traveler. It's perfect for those who are looking for a relaxing getaway. You get the privacy you need since it's at the opposite end of the island, over the hills, and close to Penang National Park's entrance. The hotel is tucked in a corner of the sleepy fishing town with its own clean beach. Getting food may be challenging (there's none directly outside the hotel), but it's worth walking down to the town's center (1km walk or you can Grab). Otherwise, hail a car through Grab down to Batu Ferringhi for food (3.3km). The service staffs were helpful and sincere. The breakfast buffet was extensive. Two swimming pools to choose from - you will be spoilt for choice. There are a lot of lounging places. Room is fully equipped and each opens up to stunning views of the ocean. Impressed by it's e-housekeeping service - you can request for a towel easily on its digital platform and there's no need to download a special app for this. The only downside is that the hotel's Kerongsong wing (the one with the most units) is next to a dog pound. You'll hear the dogs barking all day and night if you're out in the corridor. But don't worry, you'll hear nothing once you're in your room. I'll definitely make a return trip.

Perfect Accomadation
The hotel is only a few years old and is fitted with the latest comforts. All staff very friendly and accomadating diring the stay. Hotels remains quiet due to covid, however, i hope this changes and this hotel becomes successful once again.
