"In the heart of Canal City and centrally located from Hakata Station and Tenjin as both location can be had in about 15mins walk. Not to mention the subway line is directly infront the hotel and the bus stop is 3 mins walk away. The highlight of the hotel I must admit was the natural Onsen. It truly was instrumental in recovering from the jet lag as well as nursing the daily sore and ache feet. "What i like: 1) free parking 2) good location and near many good supermarkets, shops and food options. 3) next to highway and easy access to other parts of island. 4) food was good What i dislike: 1) no room cleaning service during trip 2) some staff were rude and talked bad about customers in japanese, thinking that we didnt understand it. 3) staff spoke poor english and could not hold basic conversations "

"Location and staff was wonderful. The room was very small, both of us couldn’t leave our suitcases open. bathroom was small and stuffy without proper ventilation. Room was hot so they delivered a fan and the window was able to open a crack that made it bearable. "

It’s also with walking distance (15min) of a local outdoor shopping arcade. Lots of local restaurants and vendors. Smaller than the ones we saw in Kyoto, Sapporo, and Tokyo, but nice.
