The apartment is old and run down. No maintenance at all. The bed sheets and towels have bad smell. Heater not working in all rooms. During winter it felt cold in the apartment. Air conditioning is not working. Would not recommend

The location is excellent as it's right by most of the tourist places. The unit condition and size is excellent. There are 3 separate rooms for up to 6 people. The down-side is 60 euro cleaning fee which does not make sense for a 1-night stay

Duomo apartment
A manager, Chrysti, is very nice. She is very helpful and informative, quick response. Duomo apartment is very convenient but if u have big luggages, u may need to take a taxi (cost eur12-17).

Happy stay!
This was an amazing experience. An apartment in the heart of Florence. It made activities, food etc. easy to walk too. We cooked dinner a couple of nights too. The Customer service was great, really helpful and really concerned about our family. It was so nice to have space! I would highly recommend Family apartments😄

Great location and space, with some drawbacks
Room arrangement was a little strange with glass walls between upstairs and downstairs (fully covered by curtain). Sound travels a lot between rooms. Having two separate bathrooms was helpful with 3 couples. The location is perfect and the overall space is roomy with kitchen, dining and lounge. I could imagine this being great for a couple and kids, rather than a family trip of 3 couples. That said, it was fine for us overall.

I didnt like that the apartment was not ready when I get there, even when I had given the time of my arrival. Additional to that, one toilet was dirty.

The location was spot on. It was very central to prime tourist attractions. Basic property although happy to say spotlessly clean, The previous reviews helped when it was mentioned that it was a different location for the office and apartments. That removed the expectation that once we arrived at the main office we had to walk further for the apartment. The staff at the office were extremely helpful. Our apartment wasn’t ready at check in. We left our luggage and returned a couple of hours later. It was still unavailable. We left for approx 1 hour and on our return it was ready, Still struggling to understand €60 cleaning fee. No one tended to the apartment during our stay.

This apartment (on Borgo degli Albizi) was incredibly well-located for a trip to Florence that involved heavy sightseeing. It's in very close proximity to the Duomo and a short walk in both directions to the other main places of interest. The kitchen had everything we needed, as we did cook while we stayed there. It was very quiet at night as we were in the back of the building and everything was very clean. The staff at the office were also very friendly and we had no issues checking in or out. I would definitely recommend this place for families or even 2-3 couples.

The location was fantastic and feels safe. The apartment was comfortable and staff are friendly and helpful. There is no lifts to the property. Bit challenging with young family.

Great hotel for people with strong knees.
This was a great hotel! The only problem was that it was up 6 flights of stairs (3 stories). There was no elevator, and that info was not on the hotel listing. For everyone with great knees, that would be no problem. But I have arthritis in both my knees so it was a killer. But a GREAT place otherwise.

We won’t be back
The location is excellent, between the Uffizi and the Duomo. We live in Rome and took friends from the US to Florence for two nights. We were disappointed; the photos shown for these apartments don’t show every room of each apartment. For 174 euro a night, we anticipated much higher quality rooms throughout the apartment. The “master” was nice but the bathroom, a poor remodel, which made it impossible to sit on the toilet and close the toilet door without spreading your legs across the toilet! The second bedroom was atop a very narrow spiral staircase - not at all conducive for luggage. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms. I understand the product used by some apartments, included this one, is intended to be used as soap as well as shampoo and conditioner, but on hair especially, we don’t care for the end result. Also, there are glass partitions to protect the water from escaping the tub/shower stall while showering, but there is a substantial gap between the glass and the wall and the floors get flooded. We could not find a single glass, drinking or wine, that appeared clean: smudged fingerprints, dried spots, etc. Finally, the front door has an electric locking mechanism that - all throughout the night - is making noise. We asked about a solution at least while we slept, but no one responded to our request except to say someone would contact us. The air conditioning was excellent and appreciated with the hot weather we’ve had in Italy.

Excellent location just near piazza signoria and near mercato. Apartment was great, with great kitchen and bathroom, however main bedroom is on mezzanine level with low ceiling. So if very tall, not ideal as you’ll be bumping heads!! Our apartment was on 3rd level, with no lifts, so also take this into consideration. Overall, excellent experience for our family

Well didn't know what you expect until you had stayed there. The location is great and the staffs were very friendly but that's about the only good things. We rented an apartment with 4 bedrooms (one very tiny with a single bed). It did sleep up to 9 people as it advertised. There are 2 bathrooms in the apartment, but had water/plumbing issues. One of the bathroom keep leaking water when you take a shower. The whole floor is wet after one shower so imagine the condition after everyone took a shower. We had to put the shower towels under the shower door to slow down the water. The other bathroom the water won't drain so after one people showered that's done. They must be some kind of timer for electricity, the hair dryer keeps shutting down after one minute of usage. Need to wait like 5-10 mins for it to work again. The 3rd floor smelled like some kind of dead mouse. The building is creepy at night, kept hearing some strange noise. I guess you get what you paid for.

I like it clean and is in the heart of downtown close to everything. We can reach all the attraction s by foot. The check in was happened in the office but not the apartment, which in one way it is convenient, but the it is also a hassle, as we are left alone after all the paper work was done in the office, walking to the apartment was the easiest part, but figuring out where the light/air conditioner switchs(behind the fridge) are located, how to get the stove work to make coffee, not to mention we spent a good deal of time trying understand the Italian instruction of the dish washer, washer and dryer, we'd appreciate if some one in the office can accompany us to the apartment and show us these things, that would have saved us all these trouble.

Very nice apartment within 5-10 minutes on foot to the train station, Duomo, Uffizi and other local attractions. The AC worked only in the living room, although there were air conditioning units in the bedrooms. The AC in the living room leaked water after an hour of use. We had to use a plastic container to catch the water and dump it periodically. Other than that, the check in process was smooth, the employees were very friendly and informative. Apartment has two bedrooms and a pull out couch in the living room. Bathroom was clean.

Our Florence stay
Fabulous location. Spacious and comfortable apartment. We were two adults and two children and stayed for 3 nights. We didn't use the kitchen as we ate out. The double bedroom faced on to the street and was quite noisy but it is city centre! Also, there are a few flights of steps to the apartment so may not be suitable for everyone. We used a number of the recommended restaurants and they were all excellent. We would stay here again.

You can’t beat the location, right in the middle if Historic Downtown Florence. Literally a 5 min walk to any important landmark. Apartment was big and comfortable and even had a washing machine. Staff are super friendly and start working with you via email weeks in advance to help you plan your stay. Great service!

Property is very noisy - yes its very central but the noise from the street at all hours - including delivery carts/trailers from 4am each day is an issue. Access to property was not good - constant issues with the electronic lock which they could not resolve in the 3 days we were there (despite visiting every day) and when we left there was a locksmith who had taken the door apart to try and fix. Electronic lock went off every 15-20 mins all day and night which made it sound like someone was getting into the property which was very unnerving with a young family.

The staff was very helpful and prompt. This enhanced the stay. The location was great, just be prepared that you have to walk a little from the check in to the apartment and also the apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator.

Great location across from a bustling Gelato/Bakery😊. Air conditioning worked - a key to our stay in near 100 degree heat! The main area air conditioner dripped water on the tile floor below. My bad in not communicating this to very helpful management office.

The apartment we stayed in (Penthouse) was quite out dated. The a/c in the living room didn't work. The water pump wasn't working correctly. To get the shower to have any pressure (and the kitchen sink) you had to run the water in the bathroom sink for a few seconds to get the pump to turn on. Same issue with the toilet. The furniture in the living room was in rough shape. One positive was that they let us store our luggage free of charge after we checked out for a few hours. The apartment had plenty of space. If you aren't looking for something like a hotel this might be ok. They only gave us one roll of toilet paper and the hand soap ran out the first day.

I loved the frescos and close to the beach & restaurants . What I didn’t like was no air conditioning because it was a heat wave! Really nice people who own it and I would rent it again!
