Very well situated and reasonably priced. The only complaint I have - the shower stall was very small so when washing you keep hitting water off handle. Also, shampoo at the dispenser run out and was not refilled when the room got serviced.

The air conditioner was set for 75 degrees And you can't control the thermostat. The air would work for about 1min and then it would turn off for about 5mins. It was very uncomfortable

When the guests arrive we tell always that the AC is set to 24 degrees. The AC is automatic, when the temperature is reached siwtch off for switch on when is higher. We sotty if this sysme is unconfortable for you

One of the best in Florence.
My stay was excellent. I would highly recommend The Benivieni Hotel. It is not the Ritz, but it was clean good hot water and the location was perfect. I will also add that the cafe located in the hotel was Excellent. The American coffee was the best in all of Florence. Great people and accommodations.

The location of this property is excellent; right around the corner from the Duomo. Excellent restaurants very close by and handy for lots of shopping and historical sites.

The location is fantastic... close to everything. The breakfast is incredible. The hotel is old, so don't expect something new, however if you are out all day and use this place to get some rest it works just fine.

Tax charges and key deposit not apparent when booking and they wanted cash. An oldish property but spacious enough room. Great area.

Great spot so close to the main sights. Was incredibly noisy overnight though. Lots of people yelling in the street below until around 2am. Would recommend earplugs!

Great location, next to the dome and within easy walking distance to all major attractions. The breakfast place next door is wonderful and there are at least 10 close by dining locations all good.

I wasn’t impressed. Everything was just okay. The shower was so small and darkly lit that I had to open the shower door everytime I picked up a shampoo because I couldn’t read it or bend down it’s so cramped. And i hit my head several times on the way up with the soap holder. For some reason it was uncomfortable for me to see that the managers residence was next to his personal desk- no reception desk btw. His living room was right there next to his desk. That was a bit odd. The room wouldn’t properly close. I would have to slam it and I was embarrassed it was so loud. I notified the manager and I still had to slam it. The view was terrible. A view of a wall. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Extremely disappointed that after contracting COVID the day before departing on my holiday, the hotel showed no compassion by offering me alternative dates later, even if the cost was increase, extremely inflexible. I lost over £700 with not even an acknowledgement from the hotel

The staff is great. Our room was unique-it was the old library downstairs and large enough for four people. It has an accessible bathroom with no tub and no cabinets. We had one queen bed and two twins. One twin kept breaking. The staff changed it out. The AC does not get below 77 degrees Fahrenheit, which can be hot in the summer with four people in a room. The restaurant on site is good and convenient.

The property was perfectly situated! So close to the Duomo and just overall great location. Unfortunately our room was much smaller than anticipated and extremely hot. We couldn’t get comfortable because the air conditioning wouldn’t go below a certain temperature and continually kicked on and off throughout the night making it hard to sleep

Perfect spot
Hotel Benivieni is located right at the heart of Florence. It’s an easy walk to everything you need including public transit. The staff is friendly and there’s a cafe located just below that gives a 10% discount to anyone staying in the hotel.

Great location but with some drawbacks.
Fantastic location but it came with lots of street noise, a shaky toilet and noisy plumbing. It is a bit overpriced for an average hotel.

We've been to other hotels in the area and this one is the worst one due to poor service. Rooms are not cleaned as scheduled, even after asking several times. Toilet didn't work well. There was barely any hot water. Overall, we do not recommend this hotel. There is no VIP service of any kind.

Nice hotel .. really at few steps for the Duomo main Church. The location is amazing as few minutes walk to everywhere. Very convenient. The hotel is clean, the rooms are quite modern, the bathroom are good. Would be nice to have daily cleaning service , but due to Covid they do not do cleaning during the stay. Would be anyway nice to be able to get new towels everyday maybe self service. A good hotel with a perfect location to visit all Florence.

Fantastic, we stayed here for 3 nights and it was great. The hotel location was really central to the main Duomo Square and what a place to sit and have a drink or 2! The hotel was very clean and has a Beni Cafe attached if breakfast is required. Excellent stay would definitely recommend

Great location, clean bathroom. If you get a queen bed, it’s like XL twin. No minibar, coffee maker, mini fridge, as a 3 star hotel. Room is extremely small we had to put our backpacks in the bathroom. But staff were nice.

Worst place ever
I won't recommend the place to even an enemy. it has unresponsive unprofessional and absolutely rude front desk staff. The room is cold and climate controlled by the the from office! You only get a room with a bed, no water, basic amenities whatsoever. I was overcharged for my daughter despiteI informing them prior to my arrival. No proper invoice was issued even after requesting. I'm sure the front office staff shares the additional amounts. Even the complaints are read by the same staff. If they are the owners, then imagine the plight of guests! They also overcharged me on tax which I realized later. Worst hotel experience ever.

Property was conveniently located right next to the Duomo, and was easily accessible, over all. Hotel was cozy, staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to stow our bags, well before checkin.
