"Whilst the hotel feels rather dated in terms of décor and breakfast offering, and our room was on the small side, it has a great deal going for it.
The staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from the city centre attractions, shops, and restaurants. The rooms and communal areas, including the pool, are spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast selection was somewhat limited, but perfectly good (both continental and cooked) and set us up well for our days out in Chester.
If you are looking for a luxury experience, then you will be disappointed, but if you are looing for somewhere comfortable, friendly and clean to stay, close to the city centre, then this is the ideal place.
Based on the staff, the location and the swimming pool we would definitely stay here again."
