I highly recommend NOT choosing the city view, rather the Acropolis view for your hotel room. The city view overlooked a bunch of run down grafittied buildings. "My stay here was good. The Kingsize bed was low but comfortable. Why it was surrounded at the base by a 4 inch wooded border - who knows - just something to keep bumping into. Other average item here was the breakfast - just about average. On a more positive note the hotel is well located, staff reception and housekeeping are great. Hotel is well kept together and room (had a junior suite) was spacious and clean. Bedding and towels changed every 2 days. About 200 yards from the Monastiraki metro...
