Weekend with my FamilyPosted 24-Feb-2014
Expedia, was very helpfully with reservations. Hotel did not share important information. The reason we choose this Hotel. Was for indoor pool. The pool was under construction. Hotel staff would not make any arrangements for there miss communications. There was no concern about the customer. We did not feel like we mattered. They didn't even offer coupons for my family to dine in for breakfast. Also there carpets are filthy, my 4 year daugter was playing on the floor. After she got up. Her pants were expreamly dirty. I never say any staff using vacuum cleaners, when we were leaving. I will not recommend this hotel, like I said before Managment did nothing too show any concern. This is my opinion, maybe others had better service.

Pros: The pool/hot tub area looked inviting and admission to Teddy's Flame room night club inside the hotel was free of charge for hotel guests.
Cons: Cleanliness. Condition of shower curtain and caulking in the bathroom.
Location: Next to I-10. Close to airport. Teddy's Flame room night club inside the hotel. Restaurants nearby.
The floor inside the room looked like it hadn't been thoroughly vacuumed. The shower curtain had several holes in it. The caulking in the bathroom needed to be replaced. It was old and gunky looking. The room was very noisy. Sounds of a/c vent or something that sounded like pressurized water running all night. Pillows were lumpy and too high for my taste. Other than that I feel that the hotel was very well kept.

An awesome experience!Posted 05-Dec-2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed for just 2 days visiting friends and the moment i checked into the lobby i knew ill have fun. Tania the receptionist was amazingly warm and helpful. The place was clean with overflowing smile from everyone, El Paso mostly known for alot of hispanic people, i think Mexicans are just naturally and genuinely nice and warm and friendly. I so love them!! Then the young waitress in the Del Sol restaurant was just very helpful and friendly she even tried to bring me drinks at the pool but when she couldnt she walked all the way to give her apologies which was ok i didnt need it right there. She even handed me a bottle of water free of charge when i was just lost coz the vending machine wasnt working. All in all being from Los Angeles, El Paso was kinda lacking the big city elegance and comfort but these lovely people in the hotel just made my stay perfect. I will always think back of them fondly :) may you have great blessings xoxo mai

Never AgainPosted 12-Nov-2013 on Hotels.com
This is the 3rd time in the past couple of months I have made the mistake at staying at a Holiday Inn. I have stayed at properties in Dallas and other places that were new and operated well. But the past couple of times it has been miserable. They are old hotels that are left over from the 80's! On this last stay they tried to say I requested a Accessible room, which I did not and was not even an option on Hotels.com. Tried to argue until I told them just to refund and I would go somewhere else, and then magically another came free...

O.K. hotel. Would not recommend.Posted 03-Nov-2013
Pros: The young woman at reception desk was polite and tried her best.
Cons: Restaurant and bar should be open for guests and not just for private parties. Indoor pool next to the lobby was too noisy.
Location: Too close to I-10. Too noisy.
T.V. in room did not work. One tile loose on bathroom wall. Restaurant closed for dinner. Bar closed at night. Big private party probable reason for closing of restaurant and bar. Were not allowed in restaurant for breakfast. Was it due to private party?

Good but datedPosted 02-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
It was an older hotel with a funny layout and I didn't care for the rooms much as the layout of the hotel had most room windows facing a hallway, except for a few facing a nice central courtyard. Do be aware that some rooms have the mini fridge/microwave and others do not. Some rooms have been updated and others have not. I think many other hotels are a better value as they have breakfast included, full kitchens, etc...and are just a stones throw away with more modern facilities. They charge 50 cents for each local phone call which is also a bummer. I won't stay here again personally, but they have some great rates occasionally if that is what your bottom line is and the location is nice with a free shuttle to the nearby malls.

not much restPosted 24-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
unfortunately, my room was near the lounge bar where the music was loud and the people were even louder. Didn't get much sleep till after 2am closing time.
