Check-in process was fine, although surprised to be told housekeeping was only available upon request. Room was disappointing, marks on the walls, skirting boards and table. Room also had a musky smell as if no-one had been in it for a while. Bathroom/shower was good enough, toilet flusher was a bit temperamental, but again felt like hadn't been used for a while. Bed mattress was a little firm but otherwise comfortable.
WiFi provided has to be paid for, £7 a day. Didn't go by car and didn't use the restaurants, so can't comment on the process of those. The windows and sills in the stairwell between floors were dirty and some window panes had holes in. Get the overall impression that the hotel isn't loved by those who run it, and it is being run on a budget, as when a painter and decorator is only painting the bits by the entrance stairs and nowhere else, the WiFi has to be paid for, and each floor feels different to each other, it gives a confusing and disappointing approach given how much you pay (averaged at £75 a night) for what you get.
Overall I wouldn't stay here again, the hotel/room did it's job of giving me somewhere to stay and nothing more, and unfortunately I was glad to leave.
