"We had a lovely family stay for an early birthday present for my husband. We booked breakfast and added on the 2 course dinner. I booked my husband a massage and we used the swimming pool. Staff were friendly from reception to the restaurant. Great facilities we would book again. Highly recommend"
"Room was cold so we put on the a/c. It blew cold air continually. We thought it would eventually blow warm air. At 3am my husband was so cold we decided to leave for home. The checkout lady told us we should have gone to her as it’s controlled at reception. Would have been good to know this."

"The hotel is set in lovely grounds and the view from the breakfast room was delightful. Breakfast was a normal hotel spread and well set out. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the room was clean though very dark because I was on the wooded side of the building. The big let down was the state of the windows which must have been neglected for years and had to be propped open with a block of wood left on the window sill. General decoration was in need of a refurb and the main entrance doorway was in need of repainting. I assume the whole building is due an update and I'm sure it will all be lovely next time I book in."
