"We visit Durham at least once a month & try to stay at the same place all the time however we stayed here on this occasion, as usual place appeared to be closed. Very nice room & clean. Only issue I had was pillows weren’t very comfortable & the noise of a drill going in room next door just after 9am on day of departure, was a bit of a shock. We Would stay again though. "

"Property needed a deep clean. I sneezed a lot and had black dust come out of my nose. Heating didn’t work sometimes and the room was quite cold. "We were initially given a room on the first floor, but on returning after going for a meal, we were asked to move, to a room on the ground floor. After five minutes we were asked to move again to the first floor, next to our original room!. The receptionist was very apologetic. We think the bathroom needs updating, it has a shower over the bath, but no hand rails, so getting in and out, can be difficult, as there is nothing to hold on to."
