"Fabulous old building and good location for everything to visit historic center. Marlene was great and very helpful and breakfast was super. Caution though, steps are very steep and hard for 70 year olds with bad hips but charming room was so worth it! Room was large, linens great and full of character. "Spotlessly clean room with a rack for my suitcase and somewhere to put unused cushions so as to keep them off the floor. Not a lot of interaction with staff but what there was was pleasant and helpful. I guess my biggest concern was what would happen if the lift broke down as I certainly couldn’t have managed the stairs. No tea (or other hot drink) making facilities, but that’s not the end of the world."
