Lovely property ideally located in Coome Martin. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely gardens with outside pool. Dave and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious and nothing is too much trouble. We had a great time staying there and is an ideal base to explore Devon! Parking is a little tricky on a bit of an upslope but there are plenty of spaces available. We will be back again when in Devon.

Beautiful location and really cute little place with friendly team. Fabulous vegan breakfast that was a lovely surprise. The towns very pretty. Nice living room to relax in and in good weather there seemed to be a lovely outdoor space

A very good traditional B&B
The hotel is a well run traditional U.K. Seaside B&B. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Provided your expectations are reasonable, Saffron House represents very good value for money.

Great breakfast, parking fine outside , a little steep the hill, good location , walkable to beach. Room quite dated as well as bathroom. Water pressure issues as well as temperature stability issue in the shower. Vary difficult to wash children with water charging from boiling too ice cold within secondo.

Friendly staff, hotel in a very good location , only 10 min walk to the town centre and the beach . Host was very friendly and nothing was too much . Breakfast was superb! I would definitely stay there again

This Hotel is a hidden gem off the high street with beautiful gardens & terrace and the option of a small heated pool to enjoy! The Hotel is clean & fresh with very comfortable beds in a fairly good size family room for three. Breakfast was fabulous & the hosts were happy to offer packed lunches and pizzas, with a selection of cold drinks from the bar. The hosts were so lovely, kind & helpful & made our stay there very welcoming.

Relaxed pleasant stay
Short three night stay, David and Diane made us feel welcome, nice and clean, breakfast really really nice, relaxed atmosphere didn’t use the pool but it was available. Very pleased with the stay, many thanks.

Great little hotel
I stayed at the Saffron as I was attending a friends wedding at The Arches wedding venue. This hotel was a great location as only a 10 min walk to the venue, beach & shops. I didn’t venture outside the village. There are loads of places & other beaches near by to venture out to, so this hotel is an ideal base. My room was very clean & airy with a great view. The owners were lovely & welcoming. Breakfast was great & they had a good choice of fruit/cereals or cooked breakfast to order. I would highly recommend The Saffron Hotel.

Decor is a bit dated but clean and comfy room. Breakfast was lovely and nothing too much trouble. On site car parking is useful but is up a steep slop.

Lovely stay at this property with very friendly and accommodating owners. Very family friendly and the breakfast was good with a ample choice. Some areas could do with updating/paint touch up but overall the property is lovely and clean.

My family and I were very pleased with our stay. The bathroom was slightly dated and the steepness of the access was a little awkward, but we knew to expect this. Nevertheless, everything was very comfortable, the breakfasts were amazing and the value for money was great.

A great location in the centre of Combe Martin a 5 minute walk from the beach. We enjoyed the outdoor area and pool. The hosts were friendly and the breakfast was really nice.

Lovely place to stay,David and Diane were very attentive and always available. We could no fault them or the place. Excellent breakfast, 5 starts for the breakfast! The pool in the hot weather was a great bonus. Highly recommend it

A great hotel near to pubs and the beach
We had a lovely clean room with a sea view. The breakfast was very substantial. The owners were very nice and accommodating. A short walk to the beach and pubs.

Excellently run B&B with a great breakfast. Room was a good size and generally good. Bed was a little uncomfortable (but everyone has different preferences when it comes to mattresses) but bedding was great. Shower was a little hard to master temperature control.

We had a fabulous stay at Saffron House. David and Diane were wonderful hosts and gave us lots of ideas of things to do in the local area. The breakfasts were delicious and property is spotlessly clean. We couldn’t recommend Saffron House highly enough. We look forward to returning next year. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Not pet friendly.
The room was cold , as the radiator didn't seem to work . There was no extra bedding available to put on the bed for extra layers to get warm. Cooked breakfast came out cold .The pet fee didn't cover the fact our dog found something on their floor which made him violently ill, and cost us extra money . Do not stay if you have pets. Outside was incredibly slippy with the rain and there's no warning signs .if my partner hadn't been there to catch me I would have fallen down the stone steps and badly hurt myself .

Lovely spotlessly clean room, perfect location with just a short walk to the beach. Diane and Dave were lovely, Diane’s breakfast’s are amazing. I’ve seen a few comments about parking but we didn’t have an issue getting a space, it is up a hill but most of the roads are like this around there so I wouldnt let that put anyone off. So much to see and do around Coombe Martin lots of beaches to visit. Will definitely be booking for next year. Thank you

A really enjoyable little break away
Lovely little break away the b and b is in a really good location and it's spotlessly clean, it's a bit dated but it's quirky and comfy, the nice breakfast was freshly cooked each morning to order and the owners were pleasant. we would definitely stay again

Great stop off point
Good little stop off point , only stayed for 1 night very comfortable & friendly service. Nice little pool for the kids, good breakfast too. Not much on foot few pubs /cafe and the beach is very rocky good for older kids hunting for crabs and fish lots of climbing .
