Comfortable room and lovely breakfast
Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were lovely. The lady serving breakfast was incredibly helpful. She took the time to tell us all about the area, and showed us directions on a map too. Would definitely recommend.

Good location and friendly hosts.
Visited Llymouth to see the fireworks. Stayed for 2 nights. Room was small, so very limited space for cases/luggage. Overall the place was clean, but a bit dated in places. Hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Easy walk to town centre in 20 mins, and 30 mins direct to Plymouth Hoe.

A very friendly welcome as always. Room was very clean, facilities were excellent, bed was very comfy. Breakfast in the morning starts the day in the proper way. My favourite place to stay when visiting Plymouth and surrounding area.

A pleasant stay.

2nd time we have stayed and once again we had friendly, excellent service. The ensuite room was comfortable for 4 with everything we needed for our single night stay (tea, coffee and choccy biccies!). The full (included) breakfast was great, as was the brilliant friendly and helpful service. Absolutely superb, particularly for the price. Thank you Alma Lodge for helping make our daughter's graduation day perfect.

Brilliant
Overall very pleasing stay. The daughter and mother of the family business are the most welcoming kind hosts. The dad makes a good fry up. Lovely short stay would recommend ;)

Great place to stay, really helpful host family.
The perfect B&B for a city trip to Plymouth. A little way out in a leafy, quiet suburb with an easy, good walk to all amenities including naval college and football ground.

Great stay at the Alma Lodge. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Hosts were very welcoming, informative and responsive to any needs. Location was an easy walk to town or situated opposite a bus stop into town.

When we stay in Plymouth (fairly frequently for university purposes) we look for somewhere with parking and breakfast. Alma Lodge has both but so much more! It was clean and comfortable, the room must have been recently upgraded - it was lovely. There was plenty of coffee and tea and milk in the room, and the family that run the B&B are helpful and chatty. We will be adding this to our (short) list of lovely places to stay in Plymouth.

Comfortable overnight stay
A very comfortable and clean guest house. I booked in for one night and stayed in the triple room, single occupancy. This had everything I needed including a compact but adequate ensuite, tea and coffee making facilities, tv, and bedside radio. The bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. However room might seem small if 3 people were staying in the room. There was a good selection for breakfast including cereals, yoghurts, fruits and also choice of cooked breakfast items. The landlady was welcoming and helpful, looking up bus times for me. The B&B is conveniently located on a main bus route and is just a few yards from the nearest bus stop. I had arrived by train and found it easy to find from Plymouth station (about 10 minutes walk). Overall recommended and I would stay there again.

We have stayed here several times and the service has always been excellent. You are central for all of Plymouth's attractions and shopping centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were surprised to receive a card and box of chocolates for our wedding anniversary.
